For the price paid, it was very disappointing in so many ways. The laundry service was unavailable for three days straight (and Sweden has very few laundromats), the rooms were extremely tiny and the elevator was broken at one point. I would strongly advise disabled and elderly people to stay elsewhere.

I stopped here for lunch as I was on a short bus tour and only had an hour and a half to explore the town. I spent most of that time walking around and decided to grab lunch to go. I opted for the grand salad and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I have to say I was extremely pleased with this salad! I loved every bite! It was full of heritage tomatoes and also sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, and sunflower seeds, arugula, some great dressing, and just overall delicious!!

We just got back from the Grand Hotel in Lund and had a fabulous time. First of all the hotel is gorgeous with so much history. The rooms are small but very cozy and clean. The bar was very lively in the evenings so it was so nice to come back to the hotel in the evenings to have a drink or two! The breakfast was yummy and had many choices including delicious freshly squeezed juices. The light fixtures throughout the hotel were stunning. It is obvious that a lot of design and thought went into the hotel. People complained about the "rough" towels but to me it added to the charm. The only thing I did not like is that we arrived two hours before the check in time and they charged us 100 crowns an hour for an early check in. That policy seems dated and unnecessary. Aside from that, everything was great and we will be back. I also forgot to mention that the service is also very good from the bartenders to the front desk. I don't think any other hotel in Lund could beat staying at the Grand.…

Our family just had a very disappointing stay at Grand hotel. We got a very small room on the roof floor. Being 3 adults we were hardly able to move around. A very small bathroom too and warn out, damaged furniture and holes in the walls. There was a terrace adjoined to the room which was nice. However, not usable this time a year. We paid nearly 2700 kr. for 1 night and the quality was really not worth the money especially when the hotel is supposed to have luxurious rooms. This room seemed to be a spare room! The breakfast was good and the receptionist was very sorry for our experience and gave a nice service. The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and in the bar/ restaurant.

Amazing service, welcoming and makes u feel like u’re at home. Rooms are very cozy. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! There is a a lot of options when it comes to drinks and food. Wifi is excellent as well. The only problem that I have is the fact that me and my family couldn’t stay longer in this beautiful place.

I stayed in October 2019 and December 2022. The hotel is still magnificent. I loved seeing it decorated for Christmas with the surrounding grounds. Could not be more classic with the foyer and staircases. Breakfast is a typical Swedish smorgasbord. Addition is a fresh juicing machine, omelettes, and Belgium waffles. Plenty to choose from. I wish there were cinnamon buns. Definitely my favorite treat. Something to remember- older buildings are not as soundproof as new buildings. The bus was louder than I expected. Probably because of the squeak they make. Staff is friendly and kind. I enjoyed learning more about Swedish culture from them. Only one complaint. THE TOWELS ARE PAINFUL. They are bath sheet size which is great- but old and feel like they were hung on a line to dry. Stiff. They also have that faint smell of clothes that didn’t get all the way dry. Good if you need to exfoliate, awful if you want to feel refreshed. I look forward to visiting again soon.…

We stayed here while we visited friends in Lund. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. Our room was of a good standard but there were certain elements that could have been upgraded. The flooring was worn and there were elements of the decor that needed refreshing. We enjoyed our stay very much and the food at both dinner and breakfast was wonderful. Also, if you are a light sleeper, don’t get a room facing the square as there are buses and trains and traffic. I would no problem recommending the hotel and it is in a very central location. ✅✅✅✅

What fun to stay in this fancy old hotel. It has a really nice atmosphere and is a pleasure just to be inside this grand building. The room we stayed in had been updated and had a nice compact bathroom, which made the room a bit compact as well, but for one night it was fine. We stayed toward the back of the hotel and overlooked a kind of an alley, it was very quiet. The breakfast is very nice, but there are not many gluten-free options, and you must ask for them. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and is downtown in Lund.

Wonderful classic hotel in the center of Lund that offers great value for the money. Got an all inclusive deal with dinner and breakfast. Dinner was excellent but the breakfast was beyond!!! They have a claim for a famous breakfast on their website which is an understatement of quality, it was really excellently great!
