Simply one of the best b&bs ever stayed in. Beautiful room with stunning views, fantastic food and great hosts. The restaurant was fantastic and was served excellent food. Could not ask for more. Would stay again when back on Eigg.

I stayed at the self catering cottage for a week, indulging in solitude, beautiful walks and sleeping unbelievably well in a very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless and comfortable. I took care of my own catering in a basic little kitchen with views to the rising cliffs behind the cottage. Hot baths were taken, a luxurious new en suite features... More

From start to finish Sue looked after us superbly. Our room was light, modern and large, with a cosy sitting area overlooking the fabulous view across Laig Bay to Rum. Even real coffee and a cafetiere were provided in the room. The ensuite bathroom was luxurious. Breakfasts provided everything we could have wished for, including fresh yogurt and fruits and... The Lageorna (say 'lag-ur-na') is a very small B&B plus self catering. The two B$B rooms are modern and airy each with a nice en-suite. The really suit a couple (single double bed) but ours had a good size settee that made up into a nice bed. Wonderful view with the isle of Rhum opposite. No mobile phone but internet... More

Arriving on foot on Eigg to walk we met Sue at the shop which she runs (everyone on Eigg is a multi-tasker) and left our bag to be taken to the B & B. She advised us against climbing An Sgurr that day as planned as it was in cloud. Turned out she was right, and we had a much... More

I wish we could have stayed longer and intend to return to this comfortable, light and stylish house. We received a warm welcome from Sue, who offered tea and delicious homemade cake when we arrived on our bicycles. She also cooked us an excellent meal in the evening and presented a first class breakfast. The creatively decorated room was spacious... More

Of course, the Isle of Eigg is anazing, but Lageorna was the crowning touch. We were met at the ferry and chose to have our backpacks hauled up to the B and B while we hiked around for 8 miles. back to Lageorna for shower, rest and dinner.
