Stayed here as part of a walking group and found it to be clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were in one of the larger, eight bedded dormitories on the first floor with wonderful views over the island. The ground floor comprises a large well equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room area and connected lounge running the whole length of the building, a separate sun room, a utility room and a disabled toilet and shower. The entrance corridor doubles as a very effective drying room. The lounge had a wood burning stove which we didn’t need to use, but which would no doubt make it very cosy in colder weather. There were plenty of board games, table football and a small library stocked with books of local interest. To the front of the building there is a nice, well tended garden with bench tables on a decked area. An great base from which to explore this welcoming island.

Peaceful place, with all the comfort you could need. No tv, which is nice when you want to get away from the moddern world. Host Tamsin was always a great hulp if we had any questions. The appartment offers enough privacy considering the bunkhouse is under it.

The wood burning stove is fantastic, what a lovely hostel with great social spaces and a proper kitchen. I particularly enjoyed sitting on a cosy sofa in the conservatory, looking out across the sea. Comfy beds, great value for money. Glebe Barn was clean and well maintained. I also recommend doing the nature walk at 11am on Wednesdays, Nora is very knowledgeable and even invited us to her singing group in the evening. Great local hospitality. Must visit!

An extremely enjoyable stay at a well equipped, spacious and well organized hostel. Panoramic views from the light conservatory from which to feast your eyes on the bird life and mountain vistas. Tamsin, our hostess, was extremely helpful and provided us with lots of local knowledge.

We stayed in the apartment attached to the Glebe Barn and it was a great place to stay - very comfortable and clean - everything we needed. Tamsin and Stuart were really friendly and helpful too. The location is beautiful and you can walk to all places on the Island from here. We will definitely be back to stay again.
