I really enjoyed my stay at Connect Hotel City.
It’s location was perfect for me as you had everything around you. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the zentral heating seams to be a challenge as it was a little fresh for my taste.
All in all it’s a product with all you need, just a few more twists for the room amenities like a towel for the floor in front of the shower and a little more info about the concept of Connect hotels ... etc

Cabin rooms have no windows. No information when booked the room. AC is loud and room gets very cold during the night, but still feels like there is no fresh air. A little uncomfortable, because not possible to turn it off. Asked receptionist to turn it off, he did!? but nothing happened. Bed is average, not comfortable. Pillows are rather small.
Bathroom is clean and decent size. Weird thing was that hand shower was missing and water just run on the floor. Hairdryer is a great bonus. No fridge/minibar in the room.
Lightning in the room is very very poor. Impossible to read anything.
Even tho its quiet area.
Breakfast is fine. Two weird things.. bread is still in the plastic bag and you have to clean your plates yourself.
Great lobby area with quite impressive library. Wifi is ok.

This hotel is handily placed near to bus stops into the city. The rooms are clean and bright but no tea/coffee making facility. Storage/hanging space is limited but okay for a short stay. Breakfast is a big selection with enough choice to suit pretty well everyone. Would I stay again? Yes.

I came to my old hometown for a family occasion and stayed at Connect City/Aiden Hotel for 3 nights. I know Stockholm well so lnew the area was good. As I booked 4 months in advance, I got a great deal :) To my surprise, a buffet breakfast (as well as sauna!), was I included! :) the reception/lounge area is lovely! :) Staff very friendly, my (windowless) room was small but nice and clean and had everything I needed :) The only small downside was that it was dark as one light bulb was broken but the cleaner gave me a desk lamp :)

Quite good. Was hard to work in the lobby because of the music. The breakfast was good and staff is nice. But the shower head was broken.
Good location, very calm, only 25 min of waking from the Central Station and 5 min of waking from metro

At first impression, the Aiden Hotel/Connect was very nice. The communal area and the bar area were lovely. We weren't able to check in early. However, we were given a key to the luggage room and combination lock for the toilet. The room itself was poor. Light fitting too close to the bed, and we hit our heads several times in the night. Rooms small, only 2x pillows in the room, and they were small. Blinds broken and bedside table in the way so unable to close the curtains fully and the offices oppoiste had there lights on the entire 3 days we were there. It is advertised as daily housekeeping however, when we arrived they asvised they wont be cleaning the room at all, while Its not really an issue for us, it maybe for some and after chrcking the website today it does still state daily housekeeping? So that's rather misleading. It is also slightly away from the centre, but it allowed us to explore more areas of Stockholm! In all fairness overall it was clean and done the job, breakfast was more than we expected and staff could not do enough for you very professional and polite and even though we had some minor issues for the price I would stay again.

I think the hotel suits perfectly those who value being closer to the city in a comfortable and clean place but do not rate the space in the room itself very highly. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious, the wifi worked well and everything was comfortable. The downside is that the room is quite small and has no windows. It was perfect for me who was on a work trip and basically came in to sleep. I recommend it with the above caveats.

First impressions were excellent as the hotel is in an older building (factory?) that has been repurposed and was very easy to find about 10 minutes from the metro station (Fried?). We arrived on a morning flight and were allowed to check into our room earlier than expected (plus offered a drink while we waited). It was a hot (temperature) week in Stockholm and our windowless room proved to be like sleeping in a sauna. However we were able to arrange an upgrade to a room with a window in the morning and this was achieved very easily. No problems after that.

Connect is well located to access downtown Stockholm (3 stops on metro) so ideal for visiting the main tourist sites. You can walk to the wonderful City Hall and the area has some EXCELLENT eateries (none of which are Swedish and include Chinese and Vietnamese) a short walk away. Look out for Thelins - a coffee and cake shop opposite one of the metro entrances. Those cinnamon buns!

Outstanding customer service from the young woman of reception and if I were to visit Stockholm again, would rebook. I rarely stay anywhere that good. You will enjoy Stockholm so why not enjoy your hotel as well!

A success, for the area, accessibility to public transport, next to many restaurants and shopping centers, open until late.
All staff very attentive and patient. Good breakfast, the coffee and juices could be improved, but we had a variety of sausages, eggs, meatballs, yogurts, fruit, at least three different types, cinnamon and butter pastries, croissants, different types of bread, olive oil, etc ... it gave us strength for some unforgettable days, and I have not mentioned it but the beds are very comfortable, the room is just for space, but we really enjoyed the hall area until late at night, they did not call us the attention never and that once they gave us one and ... Very comfortable.

I had no problem during my 1-day stay. Room was clean, silent, bed really confortable and excellent shower. Liked very much the breakfast.
However, when reading the 1-star reviews, I find them very plausible. Probably not a good idea to book the rooms without windows or stay during extreme seasons. The building is quite new, but one can see (check the picture) their standards are not 5-star, so probably a malfunction air conditioning system is to be expected.
On the bright side, location is really good, close to Fridhemsplan, where you can catch Flygbussarna to the airport, saving a few bucks.

which is the best and cheapest way to get from the airport to your hotel please.

Take the bus. It's fast, cheap and easy and gets you closer to the hotel than the Arlanda Express. It goes to Friedhelmsplan subway stop which is a few minutes walk from the hotel. Have a look at my review, I give details in that.
Answer from Connect Hotel C
Hello Olya! By car it takes around 40 minutes to get from the hotel to Arlanda Airport. In the morning and afternoon, there is a lot of traffic due to the population of Stockholm heading to work or school. Depending on what time your flight leaves, it is good to take into account that the transportation from the hotel to the airport could take around an hour. Hope this helps you ;) Front desk Melker
