I am sorry to hear that you had issues with the taxi. It is indeed an issue with the taxi companys in Stockholm. But I'm glad you had a nice ride to the airport.

Lovely building, comfortable rooms in an imposing building. However, service in the restaurant and bar is terrible. Unless you hunt them down, you'll be left sitting with nothing. This hotel would score much higher if the service was better, as there isn't much else wrong...More

Super quirky hotel in the heart of Stockholm. The staff was super friendly and the room fairly spacious. The only downside is that the room that I stayed in had a tiny window that opened - the air conditioning didn't really work to cool the...More

Thank you so much for the great review!
Yes, there is always something going on here at Berns in any of our two night clubs (winter months) or in the terrace bars (summer months) or in any of our two restaurants or several bars.
Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and
Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.

Hi & thanks for your answer. I've stayed at Berns 4 times in the past few years...my son used to work there. I'm in the city again right now ( not staying at Berns though), went there for Sunday buffet yesterday and feels like the whole atmosphere has changed. I've had some great times at Berns, seen gigs there too and loved every minute of my visits, however word in the city says that it's not the same place as it once was....sad really & shame you didn't get to see Berns as it used to be!
