I have now changed my regular hotel that i stay in to Berns and couldn't be happier. It's in such a great part of town and gives you access to a lot of Stockholms great nightlife and shopping. I was upgraded on my first stay...More
Do not stay here. The staff is bizarre. I brought a friend back to my double room. And they said I cannot have 2 people in a double room. Even though I paid $500 per night for a double bed room. I was not allowed...More

Thank you for taking your time to write this review.
To clarify, it is of course ok for two persons to stay in a double room if it is booked this way, but to arrive back after being out in the middle of the night...More
We spend 4 days in Berns hotel, which is indeed very classy and design. The rooms are confortable, and with nice balconies for the superior room.
However, the majority of the staff at the welcome desk is quite snob, and we had to come back...More
Had a terrific weekend at Berns Hotel, room comfortable, staff very helpful (particularly Micaela) who made every effort to make my stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Couldn't recommend Berns Hotel more.
We stayed at the Berns Hotel at the end of last month and were most satisfied. Location can't be beat, our room was on an upper floor away from the noise of the disco, and the staff did everything they could to cool the room...More
Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and
Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.

Hi & thanks for your answer. I've stayed at Berns 4 times in the past few years...my son used to work there. I'm in the city again right now ( not staying at Berns though), went there for Sunday buffet yesterday and feels like the whole atmosphere has changed. I've had some great times at Berns, seen gigs there too and loved every minute of my visits, however word in the city says that it's not the same place as it once was....sad really & shame you didn't get to see Berns as it used to be!
