I was given a room on the ground floor due to some renovation work going on in the hotel but since it was located in a quiet area, there weren't any disturbances. It's 10-15 minutes away from the closest train station, and it's a very pleasant walk there. The receptionist was very friendly; I asked them where to buy film...

This hotel is located in a very convenient location (I visited everything on foot). The quite good breakfast is served in a very agreeable room at the upper floor, where there is lots of light. The room itself was 'standard', but it looked recently refurbished, so it was clean and modern looking. Also, the bathroom was renewed, it was small...

A good hotel in central Stockholm. Area is very calm and quiet despite it is central Stockholm. The rooms are quite small but in good condition. Breakfast is on top floor with very nice scenery of the foofs of Stocholm. Breakfast buffe is a bit simple more like good Sunday breakfast at home than a hotel breakfast. Price for room...

We have just returned from a brief stay in Stockholm at the Hotel Tegnerlunden. Our regret was that our stay was not longer in this wonderful, welcoming and friendly hotel. It is in a quiet location with, over the road, a delightful park where we sat and watched the birds. The breakfast room is on the top floor in a...

We stayed here 3 nights and liked it ~ what we liked the most was the staff as we found it very helpful and smiley. Rooms are quite spacious and always very clean. We didn't have breakfast as we thought it was a bit expensive to be honest but ok for Stockholm's standard prices. Wifi is fast and working very...

We stayed here as my husband had a course locally. The room and view were fine, the bathroom and especially the shower were very small. For a sightseeing trip, the hotel was located a little way out, but it was ok.

This hotel is located a short distance from the center. Nice restaurants around it. Great breakfast. Nice rooms. Free WiFi. Good beds if a little soft. Toppers on the bed. Great value for a central luxury hotel in Stockholm. Looks out on a nice park.

This hotel has friendly staff. The rooms are standard of what you find in most hotels in Scandinavia. It was nice and clean and the price was very competitive. It is in a quite central location and there were a number of very nice restaurants right around the corner literally. Grill and Rolf's kök was both excellent. I will probably...

The area is very quiet. Not a lot of shops ... the hotel is quite ugly from outside, reception and lobby are more cosy. Elevators and corridors look more post communist than 2017 but that's ok. The room are different and very cosy. Good size, necessary confort, practical but small bathrooms, view on the roofs. Beds are single with single...

We stayed for three nights. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we didn't have any problems whatsoever. Good comprehensive breakfast. Room was nice and clean. All we needed was a place to sleep and we got it. The beds were very comfortable, we had a great night sleep. It was also very quiet. 20-30 minutes walk from the Central...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
