But what the made our stay extraordinary was the staff who were generally amazing. A special shout out to the concierge, Kiki. The Hotel Kungsträdgården offers wonderful accommodations and value. We stayed for five nights and didn’t want to leave. The staff is warm and professional. The hotel (room and public space) was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included for no additional charge and served in a restaurant setting. The selections were very good (the waffles were delicious). The location of the hotel was excellent for a tourist’s needs. We strolled through the garden next to the hotel each evening. I especially enjoyed the seating areas for guests to use on the third floor and relaxed there every day. A lovely place to stay.

Great location beautiful hotel. Room was a bit small but still fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A bit hard to find at first but that was quickly solved. Overall just a very enjoyable stay in a very very beautiful city.

I stayed 4 nights at this beautiful, centrally located hotel. I can't say enough good things about it. Before leaving for my visit to Stockholm, I communicated several times with Kiki, the concierge. She was extremely helpful and arranged an excellent tour guide for me (Joel) whose service was invaluable in showing me around. I arrived at 7:30 p.m. - it was dark and raining. I was exhausted, jet lagged and hungry. She recognized my name right away when I presented my reservation and came around from the desk & gave me a hug! I have never felt so welcome at a hotel. My single room was small but spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, good reading light, decent sized bathroom. I loved the heated floor and towel rack in the bathroom. The breakfast selection was not huge but satisfying with wonderful bread, cheese, eggs, meats, fruit, yogurt, coffee machine (including cappucino). I ate dinner all 4 nights in their top notch French bistro. Every meal was excellent. The hotel is within close walking distance of all major sights including the Royal Palace and the Vasa Museum. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. …

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in October, two nights, then 8 days later, one more night. The staff at the hotel is friendly, provide great service and speak English well. There is free Wi-Fi, they use a card key and toiletries are provided. The card key has to be used in the elevator and to turn-on the lights. The lighting controls are very interesting in that there are both dimmer switches and on/off swtiches. Being able to dim the bathroom lights is advantageous since you do not have to use a night light. The hotel is centrally located as I was able to walk to it from the Arlanda Express, the train from the airport. You can also walk to the old town, Gamla Stan, and the food hall. Stockholm's major departmetn store, NK - Nordiska Kompaniet, is around the corner, and this is good as they have many restaurants and a food hall and grocery. The hotel breakfasts are great as they have a wide variety of food including, juices, coffee, smoothies, hot and cold cereals, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, eggs, pancakes, waffles, and breads.…

As stated in prior reviews, the staff was fantastic! The location was great! We arrived at 9am after arriving on an overnight flight from North America, and was allowed to check into our room. The sauna and workout rooms were nice. Breakfast was good, but it could be better if the menu rotated.

Great location, Easy walk to major sights, our JR suite had 2 bathrooms! Most of all the the staff made you feel like you were in a large family home not just passing through. Their concern for how you were enjoying your stay in the hotel and Stockholm felt genuine.

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice room. Plenty of space and comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice. The place is centrally located and very busy. Why not 5 stars? It's a 3 star hotel and could use some cleaning and feather pillows, etc. It's not fancy at all. But is fine for a few nights.

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Kungsträdgården on our first trip to Stockholm. We found the central location perfect for seeing the city and it's numerous attractions, museums and restaurants all on foot. The hotel itself is simply charming with a gorgeous enclosed atrium dining space for meals and drinks. It has a grand yet cozy and warm feeling to it, perhaps owing to the fact that it is family owned (as we discovered). Easily one of the best features of the hotel is the concierge service. We felt extremely well taken care of by the concierge Kiki in particular who helped with booking a river boat ride, dinners and was always on hand with helpful suggestions about where to go and what to do in Stockholm. The staff overall were excellent but the concierge service made the experience extra special. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hotel Kungsträdgården to anyone planning to visit Stockholm…

Very nice hotel in a good location. Overall this was a great stay with nice hotel staff, Breakfast was nice (standard euro breakfast) and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are standard euro rooms (small) but you had what you needed.
