For a one night stay that is convenient to the station then this is ok. Service poor on the front desk. Room small with a huge step in it. No tea/coffee making facilities. TV huge from the 1980's. Free wifi was a redeeming feature. Shower small and not very clean.Lift like something from a horror movie!! Left early to get... More

We stayed in this 2* hotel/hostel which is ideally situated 10mins walk from Stockholm Central Station. We had a triple room with en suite which was on the 5th floor. There is a lift if you don't feel fit enough to climb the stairs. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good selection of food. The hotel is... More

I stayed only one night and i didn't like it at all. The building and the rooms are too dirty. The lights were not working in my room. The breakfast was also too poor. The ONLY advantage is that the hotel is close to city center. That is all. So i don't recommend this hotel !

The hotel is in an old building The room was old as well. It has not been updated yet. TV was older Room lighting is poor Horrendously noisy ceiling fan. Dust is generally felt that it is not a vacuum cleaner over the years. There was a plenty of dust in the elevator too. The breakfast room is tiny ,not... More

During the first 2 hours we arrived the receptionist did not find our reservation, in spite of all the documentation I give to him, and was particulary carefree. If I did not insist in no move from here, I was send me to find in Stockholm another hotel, cause he did not care about...Which was particulary stressfull a 31 of... More

Without a doubt, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in in the last 30 years. Currently on a long trip, I left making my reservations for Stockholm until about a week in advance - BIG MISTAKE! There was almost nothing available in the price range I wanted to pay (up to $140 euro) except the Colonial. I booked... More

Our room was dirty and extremely tired. Paint was peeling off the walls and plaster was missing in places. The bedding was stained and dirty. The lift is extremely slow and because it is one of those old fashioned two door manual systems if someone leaves one of the doors open then it won't run at all. This happened at... More

The walls of this hotel are paper thin. The wooden floors and high ceilings are really nice and airy, but the sound reverberates around the place. The location is good and the price is OK if you don't mind stopping in an hotel that's a bit rough round the edges. The included breakfast was alright.

My partner and me chose the hotel for a 3-night stay and in spite of the mostly negative feedback form the other visitors, we realized we hadn't made a mistake. The hotel is right in the centre of Stockholm. Vasa gatan is the street next to it. 7 minute walk to the Central station. The street where the hotel is... More
