We had a VERY small room, AND right next to an elevator. Weird design of the lobby, especially tubes at the ceiling in plain visibility. A bit of zoning of the space would be quite helpful. Breakfast is standard. Nice choice of books (probably lefy by the previous guests).

Awful. Where to start? My room (520) was cold, drafty and noisy. The furniture is very tired and shabby. The shower was cold, and at best got slightly warm. The WiFi drops out every 30 minutes or so. The hotel restaurant doesn't open on Sunday. My room card kept stopping working. Oh, and I got stuck in the dodgy lift....

I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights when I visited him in Sweden recently. I had read a few reviews before my trip but wasn't sure what to expect as there was a mix of ratings. On entering the hotel I was pleasantly surprised the decor was very modern and looked well. We were checked in quickly and...

This hotel looks very appealing on it's website, due to the history of the building its in (old Swedish government wine storage and distribution center) and the slightly different styling. The building is historical and the rooms and i.e. the windows are showing that. The entrance and lobby feel more like a Grand Cafe than a Hotel. The hotel kitchen...

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!! You might get robbed at breakfast!!!!! My family stayed here for 2 nights. We were a large group of 9. On the first morning a thief walked right through the lobby into the very open breakfast area and stole my mother in laws bag with $700 camera, cash, passport and ID. Her bag...

For the money I guess we got what we pay for but the food was not good and a little loud at night. It was also a little far to walk from the underground. The room was lacking ambience. I think if breakfast would have been better our stay would have been better

We stayed here one night recently and it was fine. It is a little way out from the centre but it was an easy walk. Reception staff were pleasant, the breakfast was plentiful, the decor in our room was a little tired.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

“3rd floor is quiet and some if not all rooms have balconies”

“We booked a room for 3 people (2 adults+1 child) and found out in the hotel that there is no spare bed for the child and if we wanted one it would cost 300kr per night. The good thing was that we got to change our room to one with "king size" bed (which actually was pretty much just a normal doublebed). The hotel is big and complex and we clearly stayed in the "old side". The room was pretty small, the toilet floor was absolutely filthy, there was no soap (got more when we left the bottle wide open) and there were towels for only two people. We had to ask one set more every day although there was cleaning in our room (the cleaners obviously didn't bring us three towels although they clead out three...?). ”
