This hotel is very basic. The room is simple with a soft mattress, a big bathroom, basic shower. The dinner they served was also basic. They had a buffet dinner which consisted of a califlower soup, an odd coleslaw, boiled potatoes, cut up hotdogs and sausages in a tomato sauce and a vegan bean salad. The location is in the center of town.

First of all i want to say that Norrköping are a joy to be a tourist in, cause everything are close, It take you just a few minutes to go from the Center to the end of each tram line. With that said the location of Hotel Drott are perfect. Small street, not much traffic and a short walk to the center or central station. Perfect location.

Walking in to the place it was like walking back in time, i loved it. The sign outside are like it was the 50s and inside you feel the same vibes, without being scruffy.
It´s more or less a do everything yourself place, not much interaction with any of the staff. Just meet them when i checked out and at breakfast. Not a problem for me but i know that some people want more from a stay in a Hotel so it´s worh to tell.

The rooms are small with everything you need for a short stay.
I booked a room with joined shower in the hallway, and was surprised to find myself in a room with shower and toilet in the room. Added value for me.
I did not see a elevator so im not sure this is a place for family with children in strollers or for a wheel chair. So check that if you book a room.

Breakfast a bit boring but you find what you need nothing else. Wish they had bending machine somehere for mineralwater in the evenings, but you have a store close by so thats managable.

This is not good for the money. There is an awkward smell, no internet and a lot of running in the hallways during night time. I had more or less no sleep and looked out once to check what was going on. Not sure but it looked like there was at least 3 hookers taking on customers in various rooms.

On the plus side, the hotel is central and just a short walk from the train station. But the minuses gives a big, avoid!!

I sleep at Drott Hotel for three night.
Surely not stay here again. The only plus point is its location.
The rooms are small but not too much. There are well heated and air enters through the window.
But the worst aspect is cleanliness. Dirt under the bed and even the cap of a bottle. In the inch of dust behind the tv and ... if you open the refrigerator is empty except for the remains of an old sandwich. I was speechless.
Breakfast sad and rough without even a sweet dish. Finally, in all the time that I have been there I have not seen any of the staff. It's true, is cheap, but at least the cleaning should be the basis of a hotel. To never again.

This is a low-budget hotel with some backdraws and some advantages. Backdraws is that there is no elevator (hotel is on 2nd floor), no A/C and very limited parking possibilities. Advantages are: price and location. Breakfast is standard but quite o.k.

Rooms are simple, but will cover your basic needs. There is a frigde in the room which is nice if you want to cool beverage.

Personnel is friendly and the breakfast is also nice.

I would not recommend this to families, there is really nothing to do in the hotel but to sleep.

Located in the city close to the train station. Parking is sparse, Drott has no own parking, so that can be a challange if you come by car.

So if your need is a bed for the night with WiFi and breakfast in the morning, this will cover that need.

Location is everything - and Drott hotel is perfecty located. An easy 10 mins walk from station, 20 mins walk from the fabulous outdoor swimming pools, and 3 minutes walk from the water front.

My single room was spacious, with a comfy bed and very efficient shower!

I stayed here over the hottest weekend of the year (glorious sunshine) and although no a/c (which i cant abide) the room was kept nice and cool by closing the blinds and leaving the window ajar. There was also an electric fan, which was fabulous!

The internet worked well in my room and in the breakfast area, and the breakfast was really good.

Everything was clean and working. The breakfast was okay. There's no elevator, and you have to go though a stair to get to the hotel. The lobby was closed most of the time. There are supermarkets and some good restaurants near by.

Please avoid this horrible hotel. Most ridiculous was smell. Whole hotel stinks bad. We checked in and checked out right after 3 hours. Then renovation started right after we checked in, drilling sound was very loud. Bathroom, floor, walls and appliances are in horrible conditions. Look at my pictures and you will see duct taped shower hose, molten hairdryer, dirty toilet and shower room, water-damaged bathroom door. From original 625SEK per night we had to pay 425SEK anyway. Not a compensation really. The owners are very very greedy.
