Was absolutely fantastic, only problem was once regular things done, had quite a bit of time free, nice but extremely cold at -25 degrees. Nowhere to accommodate everyone in warm reception, people with babies and tired small children in there, personally wouldn't take children so young .

This was my second trip to the ice village. I think it is lovely, and my two grandchildren had super time visiting the bedroom suites and seeing the pretty carvings. However, the highlight for them was the ice slide. This is much improved since last year. Don't go if you're expecting the more intricate ice carvings and rooms of the...

I have delayed my review as I had hoped to be able to bury the negative feelings I had about our day on December 10th. Unfortunately it still bothers me that we came across an 'elf' with anger issues. It was a woman in charge of huskies. She ushered us along to our sleigh where a second woman questioned if...

Booked this trip for our family. My husband, our 2 daughters and their husbands and our 3 grandchildren age 3, 4 and 5. It cost us £500 each and then on top of that we had to pay for sitting together which we did. Got on the plane with our boarding passes and found someone sitting in one of our...

Firstly I must point out that my wife and I only visited the hotel - we did not stay. Our visit took place during a recent holiday. The sculptures were impressive but no more than I've seen in ice exhibitions in the UK. When we booked our holiday, we did consider a night at the snow hotel but having seen...

Myself and my husband spent one night here recently and to be honest its really difficult to put the experience into words! The reception staff were lovely, and we were given a private escorted tour, then taken to the 'warm room' where the sleeping arrangements and basic safety were explained to us. We then headed to the Ice Restaurant for...

We booked through Thomson for day trip and travelled on 21st December the magic started as soon as we reached Bournemouth airport. Staff great. On reaching Finland we were looked after with such friendly staff at the airport taken to hangar for snow clothes. This is the only point where I was disappointed as didn't realise there was nowhere to...

Let me first say that this place is beautiful and the creativity of the Ice And Snow sculptures is absolutely amazing. We visited as part of a trip organised by our tour operator, Thomson. As part of the trip, the Thomson Rep repeatedly told us that they had laid on lots of extra activities; kids skidoo, sleigh rides, meet the...

We booked a day trip through Thomson from Doncaster for our six year old, we all thought it was magic from the moment we woke up! The staff and pilots were great with the kids, singing songs and playing games on the plane, we had breakfast provided and a good activity pack for our boy to write his letter and...
