The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Great breakfasts, the room was modern and comfortable. The hotel has much character with old and new design coming together well. Great location for exploring on foot.

For exploring Helsinki, as is between the ferry port and most central sites. It is a 10 minute walk to the centre (not 15 as mentioned by another TA review). Rooms are not huge but are perfectly adequate for a city break. Was very clean with very comfy beds and staff helpful. Would recommend to others

Been there for a business trip and enjoyed my stay very much. The location is very good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern and breakfast was very good. I particularly liked the architecture of the building and the interior in the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel on a business/teambuilding trip to Helsinki. The main entrance is medieval (kind of Fantasy-ish if you're into that), but the rooms are top notch and really modern. Not medieval at all! The breakfast was plenty and varied of good quality. If I were to point out a downside it's the 15 minute walk to the...

A friend of mine chose for us to stay at GLO Hotel Art; I had my heart set on the Best Western Katajanokka as I prefer that area. However, I am glad we ended up staying here. GLO Hotel Art is a split-personality hotel, with the public areas located in an old church which was fascinating to explore, there were...

Very comfortable place. Although the rooms are modern, the building is an old castle. Warm entrance, bar and sitting room. The breakfast is wonderful with handmade jams. Staff in the breakfast very friendly and helpful. Very well located hotel in the design district, close to the market where we can appreciate fresh food.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. They upgraded us to a bigger room, which was very nice. Really appreciated the tea and coffee maker in the room as well. The hotel lobby is inviting and cozy. The front desk staff was always helpful. Most of all, the breakfast was awesome!

We stayed as part of a group tour - location decent, about 8-10 blocks fro Market and Senate Squares. Rooms modern, with wood floors - average size, with coffee, free wifi, tv - no frig. On sat/Sun nights the room was very quiet. The hotel consists of 3 buildings, but still relatively small; one needs to use the room key...

I tend to only write good reviews because I believe people need to be told when they're doing good as much as they need to be ticked off. And this review is no exception. The hotel is like a castle from the middle ages set right in the centre of Helsinki. It was a very cold day when I arrive...
