If you sail gulf of Bothnia near coast of Rauma, have a wave free day or two in pleasant enviroment. There is also ferry to town so you can easily expand your journey to visit old rauma which is one of world heritage sites.

Excellent service from the start. We felt very welcome. Nice, clean rooms with see view. The weather was sunny but it wouldn't matter if it was raining or stormy. Worth to stay overnight:) but also a shorter visit is possible. The food was excellent too and not over priced.

This is really something special to experience, night in real lighthouse surrounded by amazing archipelago and sea ! Rooms are not luxurios, but that was not the case. Stuff is friendly, everything works.Nature and rocks are amazing, you could spend hours just watching sea and waves. Worth of money.

A sea adventure for us who are normally not any sailors. You cannot think this just a hotel but everything else as well. You will be surrounded by rough sea, and in my opinion this place should not have any luxory hotel. The view from rooms is something special and the island nature unforgettable. Our room was simple but good...

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I had lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food was great. They had a buffet lunch that included: Salmon, pork, meatballs, salad bar, a salmon potato soup that was to die for, and a lot of other fish selections. If you get an opportunity to have lunch here, I highly recommend it.

We had a daytrip to Kylmäpihlaja last summer (2014), and place is as nice as a lighthouse can be. There is nothing much to see if you travel with children, some carvings on the rocks but that's it. Restaurant was full, so we didnt have a chance to eat; we didnt realize that we should have book a table in...

We had great weekend at Kylmäpihlaja. Our room (Aava) was just great! There was sights to every direction so you can see sunset and rise from your bed. Only things what we missed was mirror and own toilet. It is a bit strange to pay over 200 EUR from room if nearest shared toilet is three floors under.. Dinner was...

Had a great time here in 2010. We stayed at the hotel and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The meal was carefully made with local produce. Now 2014 under a new management everything is downgraded to boring average. Food is ok. but nothing to write home about. It seems that most of the components are pre made or...

Really nice place.you can find isolated places where you can be undisturbed. Great view from the top of lighthouse, amazing sunset. If you dont own a boat, kylmäpihlaja can be reached from poroholma camping, where ferry runs quite often to lighthouse. Food was really good !
