Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had room 25 what a lovely room we are very happy, a living room with a single bed and kitchen then upstairs open plan a double bedroom, nice and bright right next to swimming pool This hotel for us was the Perfect place near to the casino where the poker tournaments are on in which my son was playing so it was good to walk over each day to see the casino life So this lovely little hotel apartments was excellent choice for us, Mustafa the owner/manager and Hulya the reception lady were so helpful and friendly at all times, the cleaning staff and maintenance was Fab again all so friendly and nice 👍🙂 We would get a taxi to Girne where the shops are and Wednesday is market day, taxi was cheap enough 350 lira, there is also a lovely Indian restaurant not too far away by taxi and also a Chinese restaurant We came here on 21st November and still here the weather has been sunny bright except for yesterday with rain, but all in all the weather has been nice and is predicted to be sunny right through now till we depart on 4th December It's a ideal place for relaxation and walking to casino for a flutter food and drink We will be back next year 10/10 Thank you Mustafa and All staff for welcoming us and the perfect stay

Staff ŵere very friendly and efficient. But food was bland. Choice of starters were jacket potato with baked beans or something else or tomato soup ( 38 degrees centigrade!) Starter was declined. Main course was bland except beef which was OK. Yorkshire puds were rubbery. Desert was apple crumble and ice cream, crumble was good but apples were brown. First visit and not going back

wow what a little 3 star establishment but definitely worth 5 star review. the layout of apartments around pool with towels provided for sun bed is ideal, and are well equipped, just ask if you require something for B&B its ideally located within easy reach of town 8k away. just hop on a dolmus (local bus). the cleanliness of apartments are thanks to a dedicated team, where else is bedding and towels changed every day. bar and restaurant keep you well fed and thirst free. local restaurants are also within easy reach. mustafa ,(manager) and his staff run a very welcoming place to have a relaxing holiday which explains why it has a high occupancy return clientle.

We like the view from our balcony overseeing the mountains... And lovely staff members!!! And that would be it for a good sides:( Unfortunately the room and bathroom was very poor standard. It needs a good refit. Shower was so old and mouldy that felt disquasted to wash in there. Breakfast is non existing... Extremely poor selection and quality of food. Plus the dininng room felt like in 80s, tiny, no fresh air. Rooms not cleaned regularly and towels and sheet not changed regularly. I guess is you get what you pay for... But there are still some better standard hotels in North Cyprus we tried for this price.

First let me say I loved this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to go back....Here are some bascic bullet points Cleanliness.....Spotless, and no BUGS (an important point for me I hate bugs :( Facilities....Everything you need, a supermarket next door, and a dispenser for hot and cold drinks Staff......AMAZING, friendly, efficient and nothing is a problem for them, special thanks to the manager Mustafa, he's a star Pool....Great size and an abundance of sunbeds (which you don't have to fight for :) also pool towels provided Food...highly reccommend the Sunday roast, one of the best I've had abroad, the lentil soup and apple pie are amazing, and the beef is cooked to perfection Other guests.....Really friendly group of people (except one snotty couple) ;) Nearby....Anything can be reached by the dolmas (I think that's how you spell it) for a smal fare. Car hire....Mustafa offers car hire for a reasonable price, efficient, clean, and nice cars. Breakfast.....Buffet style offering fruit, rolls eggs, beans cereal, fruit juice and tea and coffee. And a special thankyou for our flowers and wine on our anniversary

This hotel is a real mixed bag. The pool area is great, clean, spacious, plenty of sunbeds (with cushions!) and quiet. The location is on a very busy road with mostly commercial businesses around and a few bars and restaurants in between. A supermarket is next door. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was adequate with 2x cereals, toast, fruit and beans and eggs etc. all served in the little sunny breakfast room. Awful 'fruit juice' though which is just squash/cordial. The bar/restaurant was fine, cheap and cheerful for lunch snacks and drinks, we didn't try an evening meal. Plenty of parking out front, some shaded. We had the worst room in the hotel (room 37). On the first floor with no windows! We had a balcony with a frosted glass door. We didn't want to sit on it because it was so bad, they had screened it off but this just made it feel even more enclosed. Really grim. We could feel every spring in the matresses and had to put a blanket under the bottom sheet to try to improve it. The air-con is pre-set to 26 degrees, no remote, so it's either on or off, with a switch on the wall but it was effective at least (and needed!) We had NO self catering facilties at all, not even a kettle! despite there being several kitchen cupboards and a fridge. We had 2 plates and 2 cups and that is it! Not even a glass for a drink. No cooking facilities/hob, toaster or sink, although we did have a fridge at least. Our room was dark and depressing. NO tv channels in English except a news channel so pointless having it. We would definitely not return unless we got a pool-side room which looked lovely.

Fab hotel with the owner Mustafa and his friendly staff who will do anything for you. A good breakfast is available and for those who are peckish in the day you can get a variety of different foods at the poolside bar during the day or a full meal of a night, and it’s very good. There is a fair sized pool with a child’s pool also. It’s never crowded so you don’t need to put a towel on a sun bed to save it. We like it at the Citrus Tree and will be back again next year, give it a try you won’t be disappointed. Bernie and Rose....North Wales St Asaph UK
