The hotel is the first drop off from the Airport which is good and first and last pick up to the blue lagoon and northern lights - that's if you are lucky enough to see them our northern lights trip was cancelled four nights on a row due to bad weather - this was one of the main reasons we...

Dear Josie0807, Thank you for taking your time to write this review. It's very unfortunate that the breakfast wasn't to your liking, and if we could control the weather then we probably make every night the perfect weather conditions to see the northern lights, but that would be impossible. We truly hope the next time you travel to Iceland you...

We stayed here for a short break in January. It was clean and tidy with very patient and helpful staff, particularly with advice on travel and tour pickups and what to do in Hafnarfjordur, which is some distance from the bright lights of Reykjavik. The artefacts and carved wooden furniture were just amazing, a real change from the cool Nordic...

Myself and my husband spent 3 nights at this hotel. We were seen to at reception by someone on her first day on the job who did very well at making us feel welcome. The hotels reception area, breakfast area, bar were all beautifully and interestingly furnished with solid wood which led to us believing the rooms to be of...

Had a great 3 night break here in January. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were so patient and helpful rearranging our trips. And calling the tour companies when we thought we had missed our bus. The hotel is the most unusual we have ever stayed in. There is so much to see. Beautiful little hot tub too....

Just had a delightful three night stay at this Viking themed hotel, perfectly situated half way between the main town and the airport. The lovely ladies in reception were so patient with our many enquiries regarding booked and un-booked tours, telephoning, emailing, printing stuff out, they could not have been more helpful. The hotel is rather quirky, which we liked....

We stayed here last week for 4 night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, all the staff were friendly and reception desk were very attentive and helpful. The room was a good size, clean and warm, the only minor negative point we could make is the size of the shower cubicle was a little on the small size even for normal...

We picked this hotel as a starting point for our week-long road-trip through Iceland mostly because of its reasonable price and good location as it was within walking distance to our camper rental. The bus from the airport (flybus) stops 150m from the hotel and you can take public transportation into Reykjavík as the hotel is right between the airport...

We spent 3 nights here which my husband booked for a surprise trip. Having read some of the recent reviews whilst we were at the airport I must admit I had my concerns. However, we really enjoyed our time here. It is a little bit out there with the décor and furnishings but it had a warm and cosy feel...
