This hotel is not attractive from the outside and not much better from the inside. The room was clean but extremely small, especially the bathroom, decor plain and uninspiring. Breakfast on the mezzanine floor was pretty standard but the staff were slow to renew empty dishes on the buffet. Overall not very exciting.

Relatively small bedroom but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The workstation is small but with free Wifi and all the necessary connections, is adequate for one’s needs. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious.

My mother and I were a bit lost trying to find Jokusarlon, and we ended up in Hofn. We were starving and tired, and we've never been more happy to find a spot! The food here was delicious. The service was incredible, and while expensive it was worth every penny. The specialty here was the lobster. Apparently they do not...

We stayed there for 3 days (2nights). Accomodation was exellent. Food and professional service and courtecy perfect. The village of Hofn is very tidy and nice for short walks. Scenery to the glaciers spectacular. No question we wil stay there again.

This hotel is a 'tour group' hotel so the basics are all met but nothing very exciting on offer. Fairly small rooms ( but many are in Iceland), fits 2 single beds, hanging space & a small desk. Ensuite bathroom with only shower curtain surrounding shower so whole bathroom floor gets wet. The view from the hotel is lovely and...

This hotel is set up for large groups and tours. The hotel does not have style. The rooms are functional. The front desk staff was grumpy. They did not smile or offer help. The breakfast was good and we especially enjoyed the gravlax. The wifi was not strong enough for FaceTime or Skype.

Nice, European, clean and tidy on the water in Hofn. Rooms are small but comfortable and many have views of the bay and glaciers on the other side. Quiet location though restaurant can get busy with tour groups. Good, full breakfast included, dinner in hotel restaurant is good, try the Lobster trio - lobster soup, roll and broiled lobster tails.

This hotel overall is ok. In a Scandanavian style with good sized rooms, plenty of parking and ok breakfast. The service is below average (e.g. the person at reception was on the phone talking to someone while she checked us out). But the price is just ridiculous. Almost double what we are paying for similar hotels elsewhere in Iceland, and...

This is certainly acceptable for a small town in Iceland. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. No elevator which is a pain if you are above level one. Food was above average. Staff friendly but distant. Not a bad option for this part of the world.

I thought that this hotel was really nice - very clean and in a good location. Apparently everyone wants a glacier view - in reality, they are still a fair way off, but still beautiful. On the first we couldn't see much as it was a bit hazy, but when it cleared, the views were great. I think we counted...
