Kallisapartments is one of the best choice for who wants to have a nice stay in Reykjavik.
The location is close to Laugavegur, in the city center. Rooms have all the facilities you need: private bathroom, kitchen corner, comfortable bed, very nice furnishing.
Systa is simply amazing, kind and likeable. She picks up her guests from BSI, the Bus terminal in Reykjavik. This is very usefull for who doesnt know how to reach the apartments.
We will always have a good memory of our vacation, thanks to Systa too.

We stopped at Kalli's Apartment over new year. The apartment is tastefully furnished, with settees, dining table, plenty of storage and a very comfortable double bed. The kitchenette is well- equipped and there is a small but entirely functional shower room (no issue about hot water!). Although it was in essence one large room, the clever layout meant it didn't feel crowded. It was also warm (important in mid-winter) and spotlessly clean. Also has WiFi (and TV).
A mere short walk away, we were close enough to the city centre bars and restaurants, but far enough from the noise. Booked excursions with some picking up directly from the apartment, with others picking up at a hotel literally around the corner.
The owner Systa (and her husband) picked us up from the bus station to take us to the apartment. They were extraordinarily helpful and welcoming and spoke excellent English - as do most Icelanders. Great tip from Systa's son, check out northern lights activity on the web and if its a clear night, head to the top of the hill near the apartment, you may very well be amazed.
Great apartment, great holiday.

We loved our stay at Kalli's apartments! Systa was very friendly and welcoming, offering us hugely useful advice on visiting Iceland when we arrived. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and spacious-a lovely base as we explored Reykjavik. It may look on the maps as though it's a little far from the harbour and key areas, but Reykjavik has a small centre and its an interesting ten-minute walk down the bustling Laugavegur shopping street to the more touristy part of town. There's a lovely Thai restaurant (very affordable by Icelandic standards!) on the corner, and aupermarkets nearby if you choose to cook at home. Our bus from the airport dropped us right at the door, so it's not even an effort to get your bags to the apartment when you first arrive. And huge thanks to Systa for keeping our clean clothes safe whilst we hiked the Laugavegur trail-really pleased we chose to stay here!

Really good location close to all amenities including restaurants, bus station, shopping and water. Very nice cafe that serves really nice coffee and cakes beside the accommodation. Large supermarket a few minutes walk.

From the moment we made our initial email enquiry, we knew that we had chosen the best possible place to stay for our week in Reykjavik. Systa, who owns Kalli's apartments, was kind and helpful from the start which was reassuring and meant that we booked without hesitation - and we're so glad that we did!

As you will have read, the apartment is beautifully furnished, stylish, warm and inviting. The owners artistic touch goes a long way in making you feel at home with a great selection of art, prints and artefacts in each room. Our bed was super comfy and meant that we found it difficult to get up in the mornings! When it snowed after Christmas, the view outside was magical! The kitchenette was great and gave us the option of cooking when we didn't feel like eating out (lots of local shops). Systa also gave us great tips on where to eat and grab a good coffee. The shower was so powerful it felt like a massage each time! Excursion companies are happy to pick you up from here as long as they have the address and the Barugata location is really great - only 7-10 mins from the main shopping street and only 3-4 mins from several restaurants, galleries and the tourist info centre.

We loved Iceland, a real mix of a cultured city break set against a background of great natural beauty and wonder. NYE was amazing and being at Kalli's made it that much more special. We're definitely returning to Iceland and would love to stay here again. Thank you Systa, we can't recommend this place enough!

Kallis apartments are full features efficiency apartments with kitchenette area to eat, bed shower etc. from hair dryer to charming fixtures and linens. Free wifi and access to washing machine make this a complete package
Even though you can make your own breakfast, a recently opened coffee shop in the basement of the adjoining building is a great addition to the neighborhood.
You can walk into town in minutes and there's a good sized supermarket just down the street

Good parking - still free til the city converts this neighborhood like most of the others.

Nice clean apartment (apartment 7,) felt very homely. We stayed in the last wk of January. 5 min walk from the main shopping street. Systa was very helpful in giving advice & collecting us from the bus terminal. Pick up for all excursions are opposite the apartment. Extremely comfortable bed & a Bonus supermarket around the corner. Would definitely stay again if visiting Reykjavik.
Also recommend Iceland Expeditions. We did an afternoon of lava tube caving which was good fun. We also did northern lights with this company, which was more expensive than other companies but worth it as we went out in a very small group making it more personal.
Overall a very interesting and pleasant place to stay & visit.

We spent a week in Apartment 1. It was very clean, nicely furnished and decorated. It had very confortable beds, a perfect bathroom and a very well equipped kitchen. It was very well located, close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. We felt ourselves at home. A special comment about our host, Systa, who was extremely kind. She picked up us at the bus station and took us to the apartment, although it was 3 A.M. She advised us about what to do and was always ready to help us. Kalli´s apartments are highly suitable for a great stay in Reykjavic.

We spent our honeymoon in Iceland and obviously we wanted to have the best possible trip! After spending some time out in the Icelandic countryside, we wanted to have a base to explore Reykjavik from which was central, comfortable, and good value. Kalli's Apartments was not only the perfect base in the city but the welcome we received made us feel immediately at home.

The apartment building in located in a quiet residential street in the west end of Reykjavik, far enough away from the very centre to ensure a good night's sleep but within a few minutes walk of the old town, harbour and other attractions. There was also easy parking for our rented 4x4, which was a bonus!

We stayed in the top flat for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. There is a well appointed kitchen and very smart bathroom, and the bedroom had both great views over the Reykjavik rooftops and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! Most excitingly, there was a small but lovely roof terrace, where we had some drinks in the evening and watched some absolutely spectacular Northern Lights. It was very romantic and really felt like we were more properly immersed in the city as the locals are. Being self-catering also allowed us to cook at home, which was both fun and saved money on the notoriously expensive Icelandic restaurants!

The landlady Systa is both very efficient and extremely welcoming. We had some great chats over the course of our stay with her and she showed us some great parts of Reykjavik we may have otherwise missed. And knowing it was our honeymoon, she had left us a bottle of fizz in the fridge! She was truly a fantastic host and we are very grateful to her for helping to make our stay in Reykjavik so wonderful.

We would be back in a heartbeat if we ever return to Reykjavik (which we certainly hope to!) and would recommend Kalli's Apartments to anyone considering a few days in this magical city.

My girlfriend and I stayed at these apartments in July of this year. Systa was fantastic (she speaks amazing English) and picked us up at the bus station to take us to our apartment. The apartment itself was lovely, nice and clean and in an ideal location. Nice and quiet but only a 5 minute walk from the main street in Reykyavik where all the shops and nightlife were available. We would both thoroughly recommend these apartments.
