No reception and entry is via a code box to acquire a key. Large kitchen/dining area with all necessary utensils but no common lounge. Bedroom was clean and beds comfortable. Shared bath. Parking is at a church parking lot a short distance away. Very good for the price.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our 2 week trip to Iceland. It could not have been in a more perfect location! It is located within walking distance to all the sights you'll want to check out in the heart of Reykjavik. The quiet street out front had free street parking, and was just steps from the front door,...

I stayed at Loki for one night and was very comfortable. There was an issue with getting into the place though. I never received an email directly from Loki with the door code (I've checked everywhere including spam) so had to call and ask for them to resend it. They did, there wasn't a code. When I arrived, I was...

The guesthouse is a small 3 floor house with a small backyard. Our room was on the top floor and it was very quite even though we were next to the cathedral. The bathroom was very clean. The host weren't there so we had to figure out how to get in but some other guest opened the door for us...

We stayed here our last night in Reykjavik. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Just a few steps to the church square(local landmark). Easy walk to the main shopping area, many restaurants, etc. We took a Puffin tour out of the harbor and were picked up and dropped of at the front door. There is a...

We needed a place to stay for one night. We also needed to leave our luggage during the day due to a tour and initially I was concerned since there is no staff on site for much of the time, but I was reassured that we could leave it in the laundry room, no problem. I recevied email instructions about...

Thanks for a nice review. We are actually there, every single day at noon (when most people are out). We also live next street so the physical presence is near. We have an active fire alarm system which is monitored by professionals as well. Regarding the breakfast - working on few things to finalize the menu and work hours -...

Excellent location for Reykjavik's touristic stay -- very close to Hallgrimskirkja. Clean and efficient facilities, especially the common kitchen which is very well equipped. The bathroom facility is a bit cramp.

I stayed here for 4 nights. There is a bathroom on each floor that is shared, a shared kitchen area and the rooms have minimal furnishings. There is no TV or phone in the rooms but the wi-fi was flawless. The location is perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms and comon area were extremely clean. If you...

I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and had a small desk with a chair, which was nice. It was a bit larger than other double-bed rooms I've stayed in around Iceland. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. One could prepare a holiday feast in it. I appreciated that specific food storage areas for each room were...

I knew absolutely nothing about Iceland before I arrived in Iceland, but this cute little hostel was perfect for what I needed. Booked it the night before on booking.com (prob would avoid booking.com in future as there was a bit of confusion with the room/rate - nothing too drastic) but the hostel itself was great. It provided a nice place...

We're low cost bed&breakfast guesthouse with clean facilities, clean sheets and beds and shared bathrooms. We have breakfast every morning, from June-August, which is excluded in the price. Deskhours are limited which enables us to have this place low cost. All customers receive an e-mail upon booking with a key-code on how to enter the building.
