Well situated for a stroll into town. Great apartments as we hired out two adjoining ones- would likely be very noisy / annoying if we only had say the lower apartment as noise transfers easily. Great for us. Great price

Towels, shampoo , hand wash provided also washing up liquid. Clean , warm and comfortable beds. Towel rail in the shower area meant we were able to dry things overnight . Light bulb went and was fixed quickly. Safe was unlocked for us and was a great assert. Very central , could easily walk to all the main sights .

What a great place for a great location, you are close to all main streets and just 5 to 10 mins walk to the center and the church . Our stay was smooth & nice. Rooms are clean along with the Bathroom And a small Kitchenette Would definitely stay again on the next trip back to Reykjavik.

Very good location! Could walk to the main street, supermarkets, restaurants. The one bedroom apartment is clean, comfortable and spacious. Just a little bit noisy at night with all those cars on the street, the soundproofing and shower need some improvement .

We stayed for 5 nights in Reykjavik. Alfreds Apartments were clean and tidy. Nicely decorated and in a brillaint location. Could walk to the main bars and supermarkets/ local attractions. Very good value for money and helpful host who came to meet us when the taxi droped us off at the wrong location.

Loved Alfred's apartments, clean and the comfiest beds and a really good location!! The only thing I didn't like was the geothermal water in the shower had a funny smell, but I'm guessing all hotels in Iceland use geothermal water??

Our latest stay in Iceland we didn't want to stay at the hotel we stayed in last time and wanted to try an apt rental. The reviews on TA were awesome for this place. Pros: Basement apartment was clean, spacious by NYC studio apt standards, great location, bathroom was huge. Located on a side street off the main street with...

A great location just off the Main Shopping Street and just 50 metres from a tourist office and a Bonus supermarket (recommend chain). It is ~ 2km from Reykjavik Excursions bus station but if you get a flybus plus ticket they will drop you at the door. Our studio apartment (2B) contained fridge, microwave, toaster, electric jug and a small...

Had a very enjoyable stay in this excellent apartment. We were greeted when we arrived and given a friendly tour of the apartment and how to use the facilities. The location is superb for the centre of town and for tour pick ups. The accommodation is clean and to a high standard. An excellent place to base yourself to walk...

We have just got back from our trip to Reykjavik and could not imagine a better place than Alfred's apartments for our base. Literally about 20 footsteps to the Main Street of Reykjavik. Clean and tidy room. We had the studio basement apartment for 4 people. There were 3 of us, two in the single beds and one on the...
