I've stumbled upon great offer on Expedia. The hotel is in a great location, halfway from town center to Hallgrimskirkja (nice looking church). Nearby is also Skolavordustigur street which is full of lovely shops and one supermarket for those of you who want to save some money on food. You get electric kettle in the room and complementary tea (refilled...

This was a comfortable hotel in a good location just off the main street. It's easy walking distance from the Cathedral and the Pedestrian area as well. The room was comfortable and roomy for a European hotel. The strangest thing is going to bed at 11 pm and it's still light out!

Pretty clean, nice beds and very convenient location. Close to everything. Wifi is pretty bad. And breakfast for 18 euros is way too basic. No toiletries. No parking, street parking overnight is free. Good place to stay for 1-2 night. Nice staff, works 24/7.

Located in a quiet quarter in Reykjavik, just a few minutes walk to the restaurants and bars in the city center. Rooms are typical nordic style, nice, clean and everything is in grey color. Staff is friendly and helpful as you would expect. Price is a little steep as everthing else in Iceland.

Loved the location of Hotel Odinsve - up on a hill, a short walk from the cathedral, which is worth a visit for the views from the tower. Close to shopping, and a comfortable walking distance to the old downtown area, but a bit removed from the noise of Reykjavik's lively bar scene! We had a junior suite (room 208)...

A small, almost"boutique style", hotel with an excellent location and attached to a superb and popular restaurant (Snaps) which is used also for the very adequate buffet breakfast. We are a senior couple and our twin-bedded room on the third floor was small but comfortable and clean. The small bathroom had no shelf space to speak of and the tiny...

Very nice hotel downtown, at a walking distance of the shopping district. Rooms are small but nice, the bathroom being especially spacious, brand new, and comfy ( having an electric radiator to dry up clothes when you do a road trip in a cold and rainy country is very valuable). Mattresses are very good too! Warm welcome. The only drawback...

Pros: clean, great location, excellent restaurant next door. Cons: expensive breakfast, small bathrooms, loud at night. Would stay there again. No frills but does the job. Have dinner at Snaps next door! Salmon is to die for.

This is a clean, pleasant hotel, with modern furnishings, and other reviews have mentioned that they offer different room sizes. We had a small room, which was perfectly clean, but certainly not spacious. The hotel staff were always pleasant and helpful, so no room for improvement there. The best thing about the Odinsve is its extremely convenient central location. If...

We stayed for 3 nights here on our first visit to Reykjavik. The hotel is ideally located for the centre of the city being only 10 minutes walk from the harbour. We used the Flybus service from the airport direct to the hotel. The hotel is modern and our room, at the rear on the first floor, was spacious and...
