We stayed for three nights - the hotel is good value for a basic hotel in a good location in Reykjavic. The rooms were fairly small but comfortable and the bathroom offered a nice shower. There is a fridge and we bought our own drinks...More
Dont visit this hotel expecting luxury. Its biggest plus is that it is a great location just off Languvedur right in the middle of things and it is reasonably priced. I would recommend upgrading to superior rooms which i think are larger and on the...More
Great location, only metres away from main shopping area, staff very friendly, very helpful. Not the exclusive of places, but very clean & by far the best placed for choice of restaurants. Some expensive hotels were situated in / near building sites, at least 1/2...More
Stayed for 3 nights.
Location was excellent, right in the centre.
Rooms were tired/dated and bedding needs replacing but the staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel is clean.

The hotel was based in the centre of town, it's front door was a large dark door and didn't look very appealing. The rooms were very warm and well stocked. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of it. The downside was that there...More

Yes, the name I heard over and over is Glo. I took a Food Tour/walking tour with Wake Up Reykjavik - it was such a fun way to learn about the city and taste lots of different options. We made 6 different food tasting stops! It was not vegetarian, but they did such a good job on the tour, check out their website for their recommendations for vegan and vegetarian options and I am sure you will not go wrong! Maybe they can do the tour and arrange special options for you in advance.....so ask! I also took the "Delicious Golden Circle Tour" recommended by IHeartReykjavik - email them and see if they can arrange special options for you.
At Acido at this hotel there were vegetarian options on their tapas menu; at almost every place that I ate there were multiple choices so you will be just fine. Check out Wake Up Reykjavik for their food tour.
