No staff in the house, nobody you can ask at the reception, doorkey in the safe, room had no window, balls of hair in the towels, missing blankets, leftovers in the fridge, internet dos not work. Might have been a good place to stay, but now a dark and weird place. Don't go there!

Like many other reviews about the OK Hotel it's a bit tough to pin down. Overall, I'd say we were really happy with the accomodation. The room was big, bright and comfortable and despite the fact that it was on the main floor with a huge skylight, it was rather quiet. Our disappointment came from the fact that the restaurant-pub,...

We stayed 2 nights here at the start of our trip to Iceland but were not particularly impressed. This is an expensive country so don't expect good value from your accommodation. For a family of 5, our room was a tight fit, with barely enough floor space to store our bags. As the bar area is closed (apparantly for refurbishment,...

A super cool hotel, really funky, decor is fab in all the rooms, bar etc. Super clean, friendly staff, location is ideal, it's right in the middle of the main shop street, bars, restaurants only a few doors away. Docks just a few minutes walk away too. They also do bar food and give a discount for residents on food...

This is a tricky experience to writeabout. Firstly, the location is absolutely spot on, couldn't really be better. Then it all goes a bit downhill, we arrived to find a note on the front door saying the the bar/restaurant were closed for renovation until June (we were there in July and it certainly wasn't open). You then have to get...

A strange check in procedure. Buzz reception to gain entry, find the phone ringing, pick up the phone to find a voice telling you the 4 digit number for the safe, sort through envelopes until you find your name! No-one is around, restaurant literally abandoned! Up to our room - clean and what we expected for the price. We are...

the OK Hotel is located in a very favorable position. it is in the main street of Reykjavik city near all the main attractions. The room was really very nice, clean and comfortable. it was spacious and it had a terrace which even though in between other buildings it offered a nice view.

Excellent location, right in the centre. The room was also great, with very comfortable beds and wacky furnishings; however, the bathroom was a wet room, so there were puddles everywhere. The general experience was also slightly unnerving, as we saw no staff for the duration of the stay, and all communication was done via intercom, including checking in (someone buzzed...

What a nice hotel this is. Although it has a self check-in the friendly staff of ok apartments helped us where necessary. The room was well furnished and equipped. Funny and creative furniture. Everything was there to prepare breakfast or meals (the latter we did not really try). Also a nice kind of balcony present to sit outside. Location is...

I've traveled in Europe enough to not expect much from hotels, so all I want is a clean safe room. It was clean and safe, but it could use some improvements. They do not clean the rooms daily, which is fine, but they did say they would do a cleaning on the third or fifth day of your stay. They...
