We’ve just returned from a great 3 night stay at this hotel. Our room was ready when we arrived early and we had been upgraded to a suite and given prosecco as we celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday. Great selection for breakfast every morning and we were given a breakfast bag each on our last morning as we were leaving at 06.45 am (ask for this at reception). Staff on reception were extremely helpful, we had bad snow storms whilst there and they helped us get in touch with our tour companies to change our plans as and when. The hotel is in a very good location - we got the Flybus from the airport and got off at the #3 bus stop which is just a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. It’s close to shops, cafes, bars and all the city’s sights. We didnt require a taxi whilst in the city. We would return and would recommend the hotel to others - the only thing I would advise is to request a room away from the street as our room was noisy on the Saturday night we were there. Also the curtains didn’t fully close so had some street lights coming in - i used hair bobbles to tie them together and it did the job 😂. These are only minor things! Thank you for the welcome.

Hotel's Favourite
Great hotel. Brilliant location, the staff were excellent and went out of there way to help us. The hotel is clean and the rooms are very nice. Excellent stay and would highly recommend for a great stay in this lovely city. We had to get a last minute taxi to one of our trips and the buses were cancelled. The girl at the hotel couldn’t be more helpful and has a taxi with us in less than 10 minutes. Breakfast also very good.

Beautiful. Central Location. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were on the top floor and had a great view of the city (even in the darkness!). Rooms were cleaned daily. Although I declined the first morning as we weren’t ready to leave. However that night they knocked and offered some sleep mist for 4 of us! Would highly recommend.

I normally stay with Radisson. I’m a platinum member and had great experiences in the past. The hotel is well located and rooms are basic but ok. Breakfast is TERRIBLE. Went down at 9am and all the hot food was gone except some cold bacon and potatoes. I asked the waitor and he said they would put more food out. 20 minutes later still no hot food. Chef was standing around talking to other staff. I asked the waiter again and got a rude attitude telling me there was hot food. I complained at reception and was told the manager would deal with it but never got a response. When you pay £47 for breakfast you at least expect to get something for it other than attitude. To top off the trip I got charged about £20 for min bar items we didn’t take.

We stayed here for 3 nights while on business and the stay was generally very good. The room was clean and well appointed with enough space for our suitcases although if you are in for a longer stay the wardrobe space mat be limiting. Being downtown it has a great location with a number of good options for dining and shopping within a very short walk. Breakfast was a bit of a hit and miss affair though. The first morning the selection was very impressive while the following morning there were items completely missing from the previous day (most of the pastries missing). Being a very expensive breakfast, even by hotel standards (~€33), I would expect the standard to be much higher. There is also a tight space between the food serving areas and the tables which would make it rather cramped on a busy morning. If attending for business please note that the small and large meeting rooms are in the basement of the building, and if you are planning a meeting in Winter you are unlikely to see the sun that day.

Extremely convenient centrally located hotel, great front desk staff, great service at bar/lunch/dinner. Also including very convenient excursion support, which we did utilize for two excursions (Northern Lights cruise and Vik Ice cave) both of which we can highly recommend.

The check in was fast and most efficient the guy knew what he was doing and was friendly and knowledgeable- the room was comfortable and the small gifts were a lovely touch - it’s an old hotel but it has been well maintained and the B/fast was plentiful if only the warm dishes were not cold !! The tables as well are very small - the check out was a disaster however- I paid with points they could not find the young man was not sure of anything and the lady on the other check in/out was well not one would want to argue with - I know and the guy who checked me in knew that the reservation had been changed and the points deducted and then added back all was correct - however had I waited any longer I would not be in Greenland now -
