I went to Iceland during March 2016 and stayed here for 5 nights. I feel like I owe this place an honest review as some fools on here seem to think this is a hotel and should have hotel standards. Well it isnt... It is a guesthouse. However even though it is just a guesthouse I have never felt more...

located on 3rd floor overlooking busy street. Modern design. kitchen, laundry, walk to many restaurants on street. Evelyn left food in refrigerator - enough for breakfast and snacks. Wi-Fi free, television. plenty of space to spread out.

Really enjoyable stay! Friendly, helpful, welcoming owners make you feel really at home. Comfortable, clean bedroom and bathroom. Lovely, varied buffet breakfast with flexible time range. Nice residential/business area. Pleasant rear garden patio area. Town within easy walking distance. Flybus Plus and tour buses pick up outside. Excellent wi-fi connection. Quiet in the part I stayed in. Two sweet, friendly,...

I stayed there 3 nights in early June. I had a wonderful experience in staying there. First, the room was very clean, cozy and quiet though it was small. Secondly, the guesthouse owners, Marylyn and Philip, were very friendly and helpful. They let you feel that you were staying at home. Thirdly, I loved the breakfast. There were so many...

If you are looking for someplace inexpensive (by Iceland standards) and serviceable, Baldursbra will do the trick. But, if you want a nice place to stay, go somewhere else. The rooms are clean and comfortable. No problems there. But, the public areas smell like dog (the couple that runs the guesthouse has two mini-dachshunds) and are cluttered and often in...

Stayed here start of March with my husband. Guest house was in an ideal location for everything very close to main strip and getting about. Guest house was very basic with shared bathrooms and toilets. Never had to queue at any time. Breakfast was included and was plenty to choose from and able to make packed lunches up if needed...

The room is tidy, clean, warm and cozy. The hosts are a hospitable and very warmhearted couple who also raises a pair of sausage dogs in the house. The self-served breakfast is fantastic with Icelandic local flat bread, cheese, ham, herring,yogurt...You just couldn't have enough. And the host will remember who haven't had the breakfast and keep the food for...

When I was planning my trip to Iceland, my friend recommended me to stay in Baldursbra Guesthouse and I think it was really a wise choice to have listened to my friend! The location is really convenient, walking distance from the city centre where the Harpa Concert Hall, main shopping street, Hallgrimskirkja Church, Old Harbour etc. are located. It costed...

Our room was on the 4th floor, so a bit of a haul with luggage, but the room was large (for 3 people), very clean, and very quiet. The breakfast each morning was excellent and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, and easy parking was available. Walking distance to downtown and the harbor. Plenty of good...
