We did not say in the main apartment block but had a room a few minutes walk away. The room was spotlessly clean and we shared a kitchen and bathroom with guests from two other rooms. We also had access to a second toilet. The room was basic with comfortable single beds, bed linen and towels provided. It was extremely...

Due to a flight delay we arrived at Pavi at 4am, to find it all closed up, and a phone number to call listed on the door - which my UK cellphone wouldn't reach. We took shelter from the snow in the hotel opposite, and borrowed their phone to call the attendent, who refused to come out and check us...

I did read a lot of bad reviews before I came here, and really it does not deserve all this bad comments. I myself was very neorvous before I came here, but than I arrived and its just a regular hotel. You know Reykjavik is a very expensive city so comperd to other places in Reykjavik this is cheap. Its...

Of course, it is the cheapest private twin room in Reykjavik (100 USD!!), but it is smelly, old and need a big cleaning everywhere. There was no staff, we had to call (but we travel with no cell phone...) to get the door open, after the check in hour... No amenities (no kitchen, no help from the staff, no lounge...)....

Rude and unprofessional staff (i.e. the only one I met during my stay, not an Icelander). No concept of hospitality or customer service. My room had not been cleaned properly. There was a large ball of hair and fluff on the floor and several items (paper, etc.) that had been left by a previous guest (or perhaps guests?). The furniture...

Having booked this months ago and then reading some horror reviews I was actually dreading it and had a B plan ready. I nearly didn't go in past the graffiti clad facade. However, having phoned to gain entry the attendant arrived within 2 minutes, so we went to look at the rooms. Twin rooms with ensuite. They were clean and...

Apartments are cheap (for Iceland). They are clean and functional. Could of done with a few more cooking implements. Wi fi worked very well and its really not far to the main strip. Its also only a short walk from the sea front and there are shops close by, the euro market being the least expensive. We did have to...

Ok so this is for folk on a budget so you don't expect 5*, but you do expect clean and basic facilities. The front of the building is boarded up and covered in graffiti. (See pic) It's definitely in need of a lot of tic! We booked 2 studio rooms with private bathroom. When we got there after ringing the...

Dirty rooms with bed sheets full of holes and stains. The curtains don't close properly and the blinds are half broken so light floods in. No reception so we had to wait on the steps before we were shown to our room. Drilling started above our room early in the morning after a late flight in so we didn't get...

The owner of this place seriously kicked out of the room at 8 oclock in the morning, beacause the place was a mess he said and neaded cleaning. He was really scary. We asked for a room for 6 persons but we ended up in a Big room with 20 others. This place is dirty and we were happy when...
