Just had a brilliant weekend at Cardrona. Staff, service, food, and rooms all excellent. We were a party of 10 ladies who thoroughly enjoyed our weekend of golf and comfort. The surrounding scenery adds to the experience. I found everyone very helpful and the spa facilities are a bonus.

I have just stayed at this hotel for two nights b+b with friends. My good friend and I were astounded to be charged £18.40 for two glasses of wine. I can buy three bottles of the same wine in my local supermarket!!! The treatments were excellent though. Thanks Kirsty.

Have stayed here several times now and gradually watching the decor deteriorating. Saying that it is still a great location, beautiful scenery and the food was superb. We waited quite a while to check in as the front of house manager decided to take 3 phone calls before even acknowledging us. Dinner was superb however restaurant very busy and we...

On arrival at 3pm, having driven over 200 miles, there was a queue of guests waiting to check in as there was only one receptionist. When asked what time I'd like to eat that night-7.30, I was told only 6.15 or 9pm and no other time. I asked to speak to the manager but had a heated discussion with the...

One night stay in this classy hotel, a meeting followed by an excellent dinner, great nights sleep in the huge bed, a wonderful breakfast and just time for a quick swim whilst my wife practised her golf before we checked out at 11.00. The only criticism I have is the outside is quite stark, more trees need planting and the...

Very good hotel with excellent staff, from reception to room cleaning service. Rooms were very clean and large, bathroom was a little tired but had a great shower and a seperate bath. Food in restuarant was good but felt the waiting staff were a little bit topsy turvey and required to have more leadership than they had. Unfortunately due to...

This hotel is one of the best we have come across for food. Service sometimes a wee bit slow but the staff are very friendly and the food makes up for the short wait. The rooms have a separate bath and shower which is good for the elderly that are less able to get in and out of a bath....
