Thank you to Richard and Teresa for making what could have been a difficult time so easy for me....I had to fly down from Scotland to my aunts funeral... It was great to find a quiet hideaway for a couple of days....a lovely(very clean)house, set in a charming garden.....the room was warm and the bed so comfortable ....the breakfast substantial! But...

I stayed for one night on Sunday as i had a friend's 60th Birthday Party to attend and did not want to drive home late at night alone. Teresa and Richard were brilliant hosts and made me so welcome which was nice as i was on my own. My room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was First Class. Teresa even...

We found this place completely by chance, and what a little gem it is. Just three bedrooms ( two en-suite), and a very warm welcome from Richard and Teresa. Very comfortable room (although our room had creaky floorboards!) and breakfast was cooked to order.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The house is very comfortable and feels very homley - probably had the best nights sleep I've ever had. Lovely local pub down the road too. I'll definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

We came down to enjoy the Wickham folk festival and were looking for a convenient B&B close by to Wickham. Happily (for us) we landed inTitchfield, which is just a short drive from Wickham and a perfect location. What made it even better was to have the opportunity to stay with Richard and Teresa in Abbey house. All the other...

My partner and daughter have recently stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves. Fab hosts, very welcoming/lovely reception. Great family room with tea making facilities, great choice for breakfast with variable times available. Overall a lovely stay highly recommended and we will certainly be back. A star

We were looking for somewhere near to Knowle Village, and we wanted the flexibility of access to our room as one would a hotel. All I can say is what a find, we didn't arrive until nearly 21.00 and Richard (the owner) was there to meet us and explain what was relevant to us at that time. Breakfast in a...

Abbey House really is a b&b that should be seriously considered if you are looking for accommodation in the area , set in beautiful gardens in a really peaceful village , it's a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately I have been unable to sample what I'm sure is a great breakfast due to leaving very early for work , but...

“We were unable to get the rooms with on suite, and I thought it would be a problem, but the room had a bathroom that was to be only used by ourselves. The rest of the rooms were on suite and were excellent in decor.”
