Stopped here one night on our way down to Cornwall very nice room clean tidy good meal at the at the pub no complaints so we decided to stop there on our way home for a second time would definitely recommend it

You can walk, it is flat but along a road with no path and about half a mile. The pub has a car park and you'll pass it on the way out from Slimbridge in any case when you leave by car.
