Greeted from the moment we arrived till leaving. Service is top notch, very friendly, and unique. We were the only ones there, the place all to ourselves and the next morning there was a movie shooting here!!! Just to show how beautiful and special this place is. Tons of birds and nature is superb, truly a home away from home.... More

Anytime you're welcomed at the foot of the walkway leading to a hotel, you know something is different and such it was with the welcoming smile of Sabina (she was the receptionist, concierge, maître d', and overall great person). We were amazed at the beauty of the house and the surrounding gardens. The flowers outside and in the courtyard were... More

Although I did not stay at the hotel, I took the tour offered at Hacienda El Roble and I was very impressed by the professionalism displayed by staff there. The coffee tasting was fun and insightful. Lovely place, perfect everywhere you look, comfortable and well appointed. Make sure you get the right instructions of how to get there. No signage because they want to keep it "as a secret" coffee and food was excellent but make sure you order from their menu. Other "antojitos" even if just a plate of soup will be billed at almost... My girlfriend and I were absolutely amazed with our stay at Hotel Hacienda El Roble. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. We got the meals that they prepare there and they were large portions of traditional gastronomy. Katherine was very helpful and speaks English. Even if you don't want to spend the night, the coffee tour was very good... More
