Since we were travelling the Mediterranean Islands staying a few nights on each we did not prepare well in advance booking. When we arrived in Victoria we were told there is only one hotel. This turned out not to be true but we had by then booked the Downtown hotel - and what a mistake it was! We were told...

I booked a street view room as I thought it would be interesting to watch the locals go about their daily business but it was very noisy during the day because of a school a few metres away from my tiny balcony. The students shouted all day long. Moreover traffic roared by at night. I asked for a quieter room...

We thank this guest for his review. While acknowledging the negative experience he is describing here, we would like to point out the following: 1. Students are not shouting all day. During the day they are in their classrooms, but there might be some commotion during their break at around mid-day and at 15:00 hrs when they are going home,...

We were on a long holidayon the island of Malta and we decided to spwnd some days on Gozo. As we were already paying for our hotel on Malta we chose one of the cheapest hotels in Gozo. We booked from Mallta and were told about the check iin time so we arrived at 2 pm. I was surprised that...

We thank this guest for his views and we truly regret his experience in staying with us as described in his review. We would like to point some things out for the sake of clarity and correctness. Yes it sometimes happens that a particular room is not ready by the standard check-in time of 14:00 hours. This can happen either...

The staff were polite and helpful at all times. We were spoilt with a very tasty breakfast including continental and hot English with a selection of cereals and yougurts. The room was spotless with a comfotable shower cum bath and we had the luxury of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We very much appreciated the large range...

Stayed at the Downtown hotel last week as part of ourt Frank Macken tour from Ireland. Was here 8 yrs ago and it was like coming back to see an old friend. Staff and hotel were lovely, food nice but very mean with desserts which they rectified when it was pointed out.Beds too firm for me. Love this little island,...

Stayed for three days in September. The room was clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well. We had a room at the front overlooking the street with a small balcony. Very close to the center of the town. We were on half board. Breakfast and dinner buffets had limited choice but adequate. There is a cafe also but it had very...

Needed a cheap place to stay and reasonable meal. This provided both. Room was comfortable. Staff friendly. Would stay again. My room was an internal so no view. Very dramatic thunderstorm woke me up but no other noise which is good for a central hotel.

Very central with easy parking throughout the day. The room is clean but linen sheets and towels needs whitening. A flat tv screen, AC and a kettle with tea and coffee replenished daily also is a plus. Breakfast is more than ample. Water depth of the pool is rather limited and shallow. Unfortunately, parents do not teach their kids not...

For a three star hotel, it provides an excellent service, be it breakfast, relaxation and overall cleanliness. Although it lacks certain higher star facilities like an indoor pool and gymnasium, it still did not fail to provide an excellent weekend break for me and my family. Entertainment was even substituted by some bowling or typical arcade activities/games while also showing...

We came in here to get some breakfast and to use their wifi. Wifi was very slow and service was just as slow. Restaurant area was not lit up properly, felt like we was in a dark pub. Food was very average when it did eventually arrive. Won't particularly come back here in a hurry.
