For the time of year and price reflective of this I thought it was 5/5 lovely stylish hotel lobby with tall Christmas tree, piano and g/father clock and searing area. Check in was welcoming and helpful as arrived early and luggage was looked after while we all had a look around Sliema, hotel very close to waterfront restaurants and shops. The rooms on 3rd floor were clean and comfortable, balcony was looking to side street we didn't utilise as went out and about every day. Switch besides bed for do not disturb or make-up my room signs outside and code for door I thought were brilliant. Housekeeping team great. Thanks Maricel. Kind helpful receptionists Lily and Abelmy. Food good at breakfast with additions like chia pudding, overnight oats, fresh fruits, salad, eggs, cereal, tasty bread etc and fresh hot cooked food also. Attentive service from Sohel, Oyshi, Kumar, Mandej and Jitendri so polite friendly and helpful which makes a big difference to early start of day. Spa facilities excellent with rectangular jet pool, sauna, steam room, 2 hot stone relaxing chairs. The people here are lovely too and there is a small gym. All in all a wonderful stay thank you

This hotel left much to be desired. Throughout my stay, the service quality was consistently disappointing. From check-in to check-out, the experience was subpar. I wouldn’t recommend it, particularly for solo travelers, as it seemed poorly managed and gave off the impression of taking advantage of tourists. Issues ranged from inefficient processes to lackluster customer support. Overall, a regrettable choice for accommodation

This hotel was fantastic. We had a city facing room, which was modern, spacious and clean. The room has a small balcony which has 2 chairs. The bathroom is very clean as well. We had breakfast included which was definitely worth it. The beach club was open for 2 of the days during our stay and it had a great atmosphere and picturesque view.. The spa was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. The location is great - walking distance from shops, the bus route, the sliema ferry terminal and many restaurants.

Really lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a suite with a great view of the sea. Everything is done with class, from the foyer to the bar and restaurant. Prosecco at check in is a nice touch. Breakfast buffet very good, though could do more veggie options. The spa pool and sauna is a very relaxing space. The hotel has a separate area on the sea front with a pool, bar and restaurant, which is great though it closed abruptly midweek while we were there. They also put on a free tour to Mdina in a vintage bus, which was great and a nice touch. Sliema is very built up but there's a lovely promenade walk and you're never far from restaurants and shops. There's a quick ferry to Valetta, which is definitely worth a visit. Really nice stay, and again, the staff were excellent.

We choose this hotel because of the good reviews and nice pictures. But the reality is all different and we were disappointed. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Already upon arrival, the check-in procedure is complicated! There are 3 persons at the desk, but you have to download an app on your phone and register online. So stupid, as they had to help us with that as it didn't work on my iPhone. We had a standard room, with a "great" view on the interior court and were basically nose to nose to the building in front of us. The room was very dark, and without any sunlight. When you sat on the balcony, you were just above the breakfast tables! Early morning you can hear the people at breakfast moving around chairs, talk, etc. Not suited for people who want to sleep. We also went to the seaside pool area (5 min walk). The area seems to be ok, with beautiful views, however must get very crowded in summer. In the morning, we ordered a coffee there and we were the only clients on the terrace. The coffees were ready and sitting at the bar to be delivered. But after 10 minutes waiting, my husband had to get the coffee from the bar himself. The waitress was more occupied with her computer than to serve the only clients. I hate cold coffee! Also, the workout machines in the fitness room are old and at the end of their lives. So overall not worth the money and we wouldn't choose this hotel again.

We absolutely loved hotel 1926 Le Soleil, great location in Sliema. Breakfast was excellent, including full English or Continental, you can even have a glass of Prosecco with your breakfast. The rooms are a little small, but big enough. The beds were comfortable and they have a nice shower. Complementary Nespresso capsules, tea and coffee. But the standout feature is the App that they have developed. You can make requests or ask questions while you’re out and about and the staff are very responsive. I highly recommend the hotel

We had booked to stay for a week, but sadly had to cut our stay short, due to an injury ( which happened on a bus, driven violently and erratically.) this hotel is kept spotlessly clean in all areas. We stayed in room 901 ( I think). This was a spacious, bright and airy room, wih a partial sea view. Be aware that the hotel is situated in quite a narrow street, amid appartment buildings of several storeys. This means that if you’re staying on lower floors, it’s likely that your room will be darker, with obscured views, so ask for a high floor. We had a good balcony, too, which was relaxing. Furnishings are minimal, but sufficient, with open hanging space and no drawers. We don’t pack light and managed ok. The bed and pillows were very confortable, bed linen was fresh. Plenty of lamps and adjustable lighting. The bathroom was well enough equipped , but could really do with freshening up; it was very clean but a bit dated and tired. Shower was good. Breakfasts were excellent, great choice and plenty of attentive staff on hand to help. Very extensive buffet, English/ continental, with an additional small menu of dishes at a small charge. Portions were very generous. Try the Maltese bread, which is delicious. It does get busy at times, but food is frequently replenished and there’s plenty of staff to see to diners’ needs. We dined at Margaux the restaurant in the hotel every night. We wouldn’t normally do so, but being temporarily disabled meant there was no evening stroll to different restaurants. However, over 4 nights we weren’t bored by the menu, which was interesting, well prepared and of a high standard. Waiting staff were professional and attentive. Although our stay was marred by my injury, the hotel did all they could to keep us comfortable during our stay. It’s evident that the management team works very hard to give guests a high standard of service, hospitality and accommodtion, and it shows. Whilst the hotel is well located , it’s a pity that the beach club (pool) is off site, albeit a short walk away. It is very nice and has a good restaurant/ bar .

Upon arrival, check-in was nice with a complimentary glass of prosecco. Our room was one of the basic rooms with a view of the buildings across the road. The bathroom was lovely and the amenities such as tea/coffee in the room were good. The room was cleaned daily and tea/coffee was stocked up. This was a birthday trip and after a slight mishap with the 'birthday set-up' in the room, the issue was resolved by hotel staff. Hotel breakfast was not the best, it tasted quite cheap for 15Euro pp. The hotel bar wasn't the best as they didn't have ingredients for any of the cocktails that were requested from the menu! After 3 different cocktail choices, a vodka and orange was ordered. One of them was a mojito! How can a bar run out of a classic? The Beach Club was great, the sunbeds were comfy and the cocktails/drinks were good (if they had the cocktail ingredients in stock!) The food at lunch at the Beach Club was amazing and great quality. The only downside was the pool was turned into a kid play area and they kept moving the sunbeds in the middle of the pool. Eventually, a member of staff asked the kids to stop playing with the pool sunbed. The hotel spa was great and the facilities were very good. The massage package was great and very relaxing. Overall a nice stay, a couple of things such as stocking up on cocktail ingredients and if the birthday experience went to plan it would have been 5-star! The hotel management were very apologetic for the mistakes that happened and they couldn't have done more to resolve any issues.

I had a room on my own which was clean and comfortable..no view of any great sorts from the balcony but i think because its in a side street you're not really going to sit out there when the beach is not far away at all. The hotel is modern and the breakfast very good. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the indoor pool area looked lovely. I did have a prob one night when my key code did not work but the girl came to my rescue followed by a male member of staff who sorted it all. A little local shop a stones throw away to buy water at a reasonable price with a friendly local man in, the hotel did provide water free from the maid but you have to pay if you want it from reception.., its not far from the town, beach and eateries etc..i thought it may be noisy where it was based but its not at all. The infinity pool which i did not go to as was visiting friends was apparently worth going to..
