Property's Favourite Review
We stayed here last June. Lovely clean and friendly place, in a nice quiet street just minutes walk to everything you need. Cruise and Bus tour departures at bottom of road. Near to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Ah there's also a little spa downstairs, with hot jacuzzi tub and sauna.

This lovely hostel tucked away on a Sliema side street has cornered the market in the bracket of properties that provide somewhere between one and three pillows. We stayed in a private room on the upper floors, which was as good as any you'd find in a hotel. Comfortable bed (two pillows per head, as advertised), decent shower, and plenty of room. Air con worked a dream, too. The hotel has a spa and a lounge, but didn't even have a chance to look at them – too busy enjoying socialising in the back garden / kitchen with the hostel's other lovely guests. It's a great place for anyone looking to meet others. The hostel is kept very clean by the staff, has a traditional aesthetic, and something about the cosy, laidback set up makes it easy to befriend likeminded people. It's also well-located for the ferry to make the quick jump to Valletta, or grab a drink on the waterfront. Only properly met a few of the staff, but a special shout out to Sheryl who always made time to sit and chat with us. She's grand, like. Also thank you to the other people we met, who (as always) made the trip what it was. My only comment is that after booking direct with the hotel, there were a number of extra fees added on – one to pay with card, a city tax, a deposit (which we got back), and quite a bit extra to stick a cot in the private room. Maybe just bucket that in with the room cost to keep things simple. Otherwise, Two Pillows and Malta were an excellent, memorable way to jumpstart travel after a lengthy lockdown.

Really great place to use as a base to explore Malta. Great hostel, it's nice and clean, good quality comfy beds with your own plug sockets and light. The ensuite had good shower facilities. You get free use of the spa and jacuzzi which is great to relax. Nice social space to meet other travellers and a good well equipped kitchen. Good location, lots of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes round the corner, and the ferries/buses are at the bottom of the road.

Beautiful Hostel in a great location close to all of the main bars and restaurants and transport. Great kitchen and beautiful building. Staff are incredibly helpful too - a special shout out to Maura who answered my 7 million questions, helped me when I thought I’d ruined my favourite t-shirt and helped take many amazing photos of my outside the hostel with the view as I had no one else to do thankyou, I appreciate you!
