Exceptional accommodation, modern, clean, with all the comforts, of superior quality! Unbeatable breakfast, on top with the best staff. Specifically, I will talk about Fatima's work, super loving, towards understanding us and super professional. He took care of the house, detail and our request. It's a charm. I

They started off by trying to charge me two days before I actually checked in even though I'd selected "pay at property" via my booking on Hotels.com

Once that issue was sorted I arrived on the day and despite a WhatsApp from someone the day before hadn't been warned that entry is via a Starbucks with our room key left with staff there. I was expecting a reception at least

Initially our key didn't work but luckily we stumbled across a room cleaner who was great and sorted the issue. As other reviews state these are more like serviced apartments than a hotel

Room was small but very nice and personally we found no issues with noise from the Starbucks

Great location as well and overall I'd recommend

Great stay in the best part of Valletta

Our stay at the Melior was a great one and will definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Valletta.

We were sent an automated check-in code a day before through booking.com by the hotel which is located inside the Starbuck Reserve.
When we arrived, we were greeted by Isis, the hotel representative who was very nice, friendly and welcoming! She took us up to our room and explained that the code unlocks our room, hotel elevator and main entrance in the evenings.

With the check-in letter and a few recommendations on what to do in Valletta, we were also given two tokens to a free cocktail at Aki!

Our room was modern and had all the amenities one could need (mini fridge, coffee machine etc..). The tv also had pre installed Netflix and YouTube which was an extremely nice touch!

We forgot our phone chargers and found out that there are two wireless charging pads on each of the bedside tables... bathrooms had all amenities like shampoo, body wash, conditioner and even toothbrushes with toothpaste. Everything was thought out for.

We heard a few mixed opinions about breakfast but don't know what the fuss was about as it exceeded our expectations. You are given a door hanger (similar to the make my room ones) with all the breakfast options. You simply fill it in the night before and indicate what time you want your breakfast. You can choose a Savoy option, pastry option, granola with yoghurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and water (we couldn't finish it all). It also came on little trays with legs that are perfect for enjoying breakfast in bed.

We would definitely stay here again!

I had the pleasure of staying at the city boutique on a Friday night during the month of April. I invited a couple of friends to join me for my birthday and together we stayed in the superior loft suit which was a beautiful duplex room equipped with all the essential necessities overlooking the bustling Republic street in Valletta. On Friday night we booked a cocktail tasting menu at the Starbucks Reserve bar which is located just beneath the hotel and made the most of the city life on a Friday night in Valletta which is normally bursting with life. My favorite part however was waking up the next day and having my morning cup of coffee from the balcony enjoying the morning calmness in the streets of Valletta- which would later become a main tourist attraction. We then proceeded to get some breakfast from the Starbucks restaurant below. Overall the stay at the hotel was a pleasurable experience - if you like the thrill the city has to offer, this boutique has the best location to offer you just that!

So I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in June, The hotel itself is above a Starbucks. In fact the front of house staff are the servers at Starbucks, though they seemed to do a decent job.
The rooms were good and the pricing was fair. There is a good size smart TV, excellent shower bathroom and ample storage space. A travel iron and board is supplied also. The air conditioning which is all important was excellent.

If I have any complaints about the room, its the staff did not replenish things like bottled water, if used which to me seems a bit miserly for a boutique hotel. The cleaning carried out by the housekeeping staff was adequate but nothing more.

My biggest issue which again isn't the end of the world if the breakfast. Its described on booking as a 'good breakfast'. So that may be the case if your idea of a good breakfast is Starbucks pastries, granola pot and coffee. I'd prefer a proper continental breakfast buffet, or something cooked. This sadly isn't an option. I'ts okay for a day, but after 2 or 3 you find yourself just getting coffee and water and going off site for morning sustenance. All in all though it's a good hotel. The location is excellent. I'd probably look elsewhere though if I was returning there.

We had a wonderful experience at Melior Boutique Hotel. This lovely hotel is located right in the heart of Valletta, being the perfect spot to enjoy the city's culture, history and beauty.

Upon arrival we where greeted by one of the staff members who was very helpful and polite she explained how everything works and also showed us up to our room.

Once we walked in the room we where totally fascinated! The room was super modern, very spacious, and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes, slippers , toiletries, iron board , it literally had it all!

Breakfast was served at Starbucks Reserve which is located right below the property . You also have an option to get you breakfast brought to your room. Wide selection of breakfast items to choose from which where all super delicious too!!

There was absolutely nothing to fault at The Melior Boutique Hotel as everything was top notch!Really wished I could have stayed there longer ! So will definitely be returning very soon as our experience was perfect! ❤️

Melior Boutique Hotel is the perfect place to stay when visiting Malta! Perfectly located in the heart of Valletta a stone throw away from the main tourist attractions, restaurants and various shops. The room was luxurious and perfectly clean, staff were friendly and very helpful! Breakfast is uniquely served in the Starbucks Reserve bar located just beneath the hotel. The Reserve Bar was also a perfect place to relax and have some cocktails in the evening, will surely visit again!
I highly recommend staying at the Melior when visiting Malta!

Great hotel located in Republic Street.

We were welcomed by Isis from the Melior who showed us around and took us to our room, which was quite spacious and set on two floors.

Breakfast was great and we were offered a variety of items that were brought up to us in the morning.

Would recommend.

A pleasant surprise awaits every guest when they enter the Starbucks coffee shop. Near the bar is a reception desk for the hotel and a phone number to reach the receptionist. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean, pleasant, and comfortable. Guests can have breakfast either in the room or in the Starbucks cafeteria) according to a pre-selected menu—an excellent collaboration between the hotel and Starbucks. The hotel is suitable for business (conference ) guests like me, couples, and individual guests, but not so much for seniors who need more contact with the staff.
