Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at Hotel Belle Vue with my daughter for a few nights. The place is lovely. The room was clean and spacious with a nice walk-in shower. The breakfast and overall food was pretty decent. I recommend their prawns with garlic! They have lots of tables on the terrace, so you can both have breakfast and other meals outside, which is really nice in these funny times.
You could book the pool for 40 mins each day and then had it to yourself. They also offer massages, but the sauna is shut due to corona measures.
The staff are friendly and helpful - it's only a little tricky knowing what language to use, but not to worry, everybody speaks several :D

The standard room was a great room, very clean and lots of storage room and nice to have an airconditioning and balcony. Breakfast was very good.
We could make a reservation for the swimming pool for 40 minutes, it was nice there was a possibility in the evening (21.00).
The staff wasn’t very friendly.. at breakfast time there was a sign to wait and the staff will show you where to sit down but unfortunately there was no staff to show you where to go..
But overall we had a pleasant stay!

High season and the (large) hotel was full we only were able to reserve one room. But we were able to add a spare bed to the large double room (corner with terrace and view), management was friendly and efficient with respect to our request. Prices are reasonable even in high season unlike Hotel restaurant Auberge de l’Our which practices price gouging (avoid them!). Breakfast at EUR12 per person from 7 AM is good. The pool is open from 7 AM and is a great bonus. Check out efficient. Recommend.

The staff was friendly.
The bedroom was clean with all the necessary amenities. The shower room had a good size and was well equipped. The temperature was pleasant and there was no noise.
We had a 30 minute massage in the spa and it was fantastic! Great hands!
The breakfast was delicious, there was so much food, that we couldn't decide what to eat and drink! A lot of options for everyone.
We fully recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, client oriented, everything is perfect there! The pool is just awesome! The breakfast buffet is very rich and the meals in the restaurant are very tasty. Beautiful terrace, a blast to eat there when the weather is nice. We'll come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel for 5 nights, to start with the only down that was the matras which for us was too hard, but to immediately mitigate this I have to say the staff of the hotel did everything to help us out and after the first night we got a "topper" on top of the matras. Beside this the swimming pool, the offered massages and not least the breakfast and dinner where outstanding, we looked forward to our dinner every night where we had a 4 course meal. We also shared a pizza one afternoon in the sister hotel Petry and we're sorry we were not more hungry because it was delicious. The hotel was very clean and for clarity we had a luxury room with balcony, it had all amenities but we used our own blow dryer as the one offered was pretty standard, we also used our own bathrobes. The shower is pretty weak and room was very warm so we slept with the balcony door wide open.

Hotel is easy to find on the main road of Vianden.

Check in area is small and more than two people in the area makes it very crowded.
Check in was quick with payment made before getting the key.

Room was clean with tv and a fan.
Kettle available also a small fridge and a safe.

Beds were soft memory foam.
Sheets were nylon/ stretchy type.
Both of the above in a heat wave are not a good combination.
Sheets felt hot and itchy when laid upon.
Fan did not offer much cooling.
This is the main reason for giving 2 stars.
With the money paid to stay over the least you expect are good quality cotton bedding.

Bar and food area seemed a little chaotic with people waiting for food/drinks.

The main reason I would not stay here again is due to the bedding.
Hopefully the hotel will read this and address the issue.

Excellent hotel in the charming village of Vianden. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was quaint and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ample and tasty. From inside of the restaurant or on the spacious patio is a great view of Vianden Castle. Just a short walk to eateries on the Our river with remarkable views of the bridge and Vianden Castle.

We haven’t stay here for years so we’re not sure what to expect but certainly a friendly welcome and a spotlessly clean room we’re the first things to be received. They also have an excellent sauna and swimming pool free to guests which we enjoyed. We didn’t partake of breakfast as we thought it very expensive compared with many and really should be in the price but a very good hotel well located in an attractive village.

We did not take public transport, but ended up driving a car. Vianden is in the country and not near any trains. As I recall, it would have taken three buses to reach Luxembourg City or any other major train station, airport or city. The area is rural.
