First stay at the hotel and really enjoyed the experience. The location is fantastic, close to the beach and a short walk to Tomb of the Kings Road where there's lots of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The hotel's layout is excellent. The pool areas are well designed and there's plenty of room to stretch out. The bar, restaurant and terrace area are extremely pleasant. The hotel's WiFi coverage is very good and is widely available at no additional cost. The place was very Covid secure.
My wife and I were originally given a standard room but quickly decided it was just a little too small and in need of a bit of tlc. We then upgraded to a superior room and felt it was well worth the additional cost. Furthermore it included use of a safe and fridge.
The hotel has a constant friendly atmosphere to it and the staff are all exceptional. A special thank you to Tina, Aggie, Paul and Barbara, but really everyone was helpful and charming.
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the Kissos Hotel and intend returning next year. I do, reluctantly, have to mention two negative points however. The restaurant where evening meals where served was closed shortly after we arrived because of a shortage of guests requiring half board accommodation. Thus we were required to have our evening meals on the terrace bar. This in itself was OK and the food quality was excellent. The problem was we initially only had a choice of meals from, essentially, a limited snack bar menu. It did improve after a while with the introduction of speciality dishes but it still remained rather limited for an evening meal. The second issue was initially we never felt our room was not being maintained to the highest standard by the hotel cleaning staff and had cause to question how adequate it is was once or twice. Fortunately it did eventually improve to a far higher standard. Other guests we spoke to did not have similar issues and all were highly impressed with the quality of their room maintenance.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Kissos Hotel and would throughly recommend it.
As an aside, there's a Pharmacy near - across and down Tomb Of The Kings road, just pass the Pit Stop pub - doing Covid Lateral Flow testing, with certificate, for just 10 Euros. No appointment needed and just what is required when you book in at the airport to return to the UK. Most Pharmacies in the local area are doing the exact same thing.

We read some of the reviews before going so where kind of not expecting much but I can honestly say our experience was excellent. We stayed in a superior room which includes fridge, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. The room was huge and spotless when we arrived and hats off to the maid everyday she came in at our convenience so didn’t feel rushed to get up and out of the room. We where on the ground floor so just a few steps down and we where in the pool which was always clean and lovely. Check in was a breeze and reception staff very helpful. We stayed half board but to be honest only stayed in twice for meals as we prefer to eat out but meals where good when we stayed in, can’t comment on breakfast as we never made it. Drinks at the bar are reasonable and strong my favourite was the pina colada. There are bars and resteraunts right round the corner and buses run frequently to the harbour, the market and coral bay and only €1.50 each way. Harbour is about half an hour walk away. All in all we had a chilled out stay in a clean hotel and met some lovely people and would definitely stay here again if we came back to Paphos.

Stayed here for the second time after a good trip last year. This hotel is in a great location and you get pretty much what you would expect for a hotel in this price range. The superior rooms are very large and make for a really comfortable stay. We had breakfast included and it was very samey but again for this star hotel as you would expect. They definitely need to sort the toaster out as there was a queue most mornings as you have to put the bread thru at least 3 times. The lagoon pool is lovely. The main pool around the edges is filthy! It was the same last year. Get somebody in that pool with a scrubbing brush and clean it. Its disgusting. Lastly, I have a mobility problem and emailed the hotel in April asking for a ground floor room nearest reception. It didn't happen and as the hotel was full we ended up in the room furthest away. We managed but the lady on reception who I won't name made me feel like I was just a moaner. A few days later I reported some children in the pool at midnight jumping off the bridge into a shallow pool and got told "what are we supposed to do put barbed wire round" I found her attitude very passive aggressive. Despite that I would recommend this hotel but definitely upgrade your room.

Stopped here in July for 2 weeks, reception staff were efficient and helpful ,any information required on local buses, places of interest, trips out was given freely and accurately.
Our board was b&b ,the breakfast was fine with the standard fare to be expected was on offer buffet style. The dining room staff were excellent and on hand at all times. We did have a couple of lunches in the hotel that were part buffet and part order from the menu, cooked freshly to order, price €14 for three courses was spot on.
The rooms were functional and cleaned daily with fresh towels daily also.AIrcon was free, balconies very small.
Pool area was fine with plenty of sunbeds, entertainment guy Rio was enthusiastic and good fun.
All in all good hotel for price paid .

Overall the hotel had a very weird atmosphere (I can’t put my finger on it) and is in serious need of a revamp.

We had a balcony which looked on to the carpark at the front of the building which wasn’t ideal. You’re probably thinking “you get what you pay for” but this holiday wasn’t cheap.
The room was fairly clean but there were scuffs on the walls and a stain on the bed sheet.
The balcony door was difficult to close and on many occasions is wouldn't close at all and took two of us to close it.
There were 3 plug sockets in the room, one of which didn’t work.
We had ran out of toilet paper half way through our stay so I asked a lady from housekeeping if we could please have some more, to which she replied no. I asked the man on the reception instead and he kindly brought some up for us.
The bathroom was clean but the bath mat was dirty and had long hair hanging from it - safe to say we didn’t use the bath mat and kept it where it was!

We were on a b&b basis and thank god we didn’t pay for any more meals. The breakfast was the same each morning, which was fine, but it was lukewarm - nothing special and we went without after two mornings.

Not enough sun loungers around the pools and the ones that were there, were put closely together which meant everyone was on top of one another.
The lagoon type pool was the nicer out of the two but could do with a good clean. The indoor pool was locked.

There were signs throughout saying that there was free wifi throughout the hotel but we couldn’t connect to it in our room.

The safe and fridge were locked away in a cupboard and could only be used if we paid a daily fee of €5. We didn’t bother and just went to McDonald’s for cold drinks instead.

If you are looking for a hotel in the Paphos area, I would recommend booking elsewhere for something a lot nicer.

The location is great with easy access to the beach, the harbour and lots of pubs and restaurants. The staff are fantastic and everyone is so helpful (particularly Tina on reception). The standard rooms are a little basic but have everything you could require but you do need to pay extra to use the safe and fridge (the superior rooms are particularly nice, with kettle, tea, coffee and milk provided. You also get open access to the fridge and safe). The pool area is well set out and extremely pleasant with nice twin pools. The cleaning staff are extremely hard working and the place is well maintained. However what let's the hotel down is the food and lack of entertainment. Whilst plentiful the breakfast buffet is often bland and never really alters. The evening meal choice is likewise somewhat limited and the quality is average at best. Really you won't starve but you will probably get a little bored with the repetition (I certainly did). The hotel's entertainment program is almost non existent and while we where there it comprised of a singer and musician two nights a week. Pretty poor for all inclusive guests really. In short, the hotel is an excellent 3 star accommodation with lots of pluses but overall don't expect more than 3 star or you'll be disappointed.

Stayed here for two weeks and would not choose to come back. As you have to pay extra for the fridge and lots of other things we decided to pay for the room upgrade. I spoke to the hotel before our stay and we agreed to pay on arrival. On check in we were greeted by a very rude man who spoke very little English and gave us our key and just pointed outside so we had to find our room ourself this would have been a lot easier if we hadn’t had a night time arrival and it was dark. The room appeared to be fine but the fridge was locked and we had no key same with the safe after we had paid for the upgrade to have these facilities my husband went straight down to reception and was told we hadn’t paid for this and to come back tomorrow. So after paying for the extras we weren’t even given them the first night. The next day this was rectified after having to go back to reception. All the plugs in the room were three prong but the kettle was two prong so we weren’t able to use that. The room appeared clean to start with but could have been cleaner. There was an earring left on the floor from im assuming the people before us and it was very dusty. We were told the towels would be changed every two days and the bedding three days this was definitely not the case our bedding was changed once in two weeks and the bath mat was not changed at all. The cleaners came in so early as well so you had to be up or have the do not disturb on your door. The loungers round the pool were occupied so early with towels and a lot of the beds and umbrellas were broken so you just had to make do. The breakfast was what you would expect we didn’t go every day as it finished so early at 9:30. There is a gym which my husband went to and you had to lay a €5 deposit for the aircon this is fair enough but there should be information about this. There was a pool table when we asked to hire cues we were told very rudely you aren’t allowed to play pool after 10:30 this was by the same man who checked us in the older man. The lagoon pool was nice if you can get a lounger but one side of the pool the drains were really smelly. We had a late flight home and went the day before to ask about late check out as we were advised to do this the day before we were told there was nothing we could do until the day of. With having to wait so last minute we had checked online to see if there rooms available to which there was so we didn’t see it being an issue having a late checkout. We then asked on the day off and a young lad told us we couldn’t have the late check out without even checking telling us there was no rooms. We did say we would be happy to move rooms into a normal one and it was just to have a shower before our flight as we were getting picked up at 7pm the response was shower by the pool in the public showers whilst laughing. My husband then explained there was rooms available online so surely there was some available he then started smirking and told us to come back in half a hour then magically we were able to pay for a late checkout.

Stayed for 7 days with my Daughter and her husband.
The hotel doesn't warrant a 3 star rating.
I've stayed in good hotels and poor hotels and this one is the poorest.
Arriving at 2 am in the morning after the long delays there was no drink or refreshments.
The accomodation was ideal as we had 2 adjoining rooms, there were no tea making facilities as standard but could be provided at an extra cost, same with the fridge which was locked but available at an extra cost. I mentioned this to the Jet 2 Rep and her answer was so flippant,"we get lots of complaints about it and the Management are aware of this but won't
do anything about it."
The entertainment was poor and only on for 3 nights and no explanation as to why.
The pool was dirty and needed a good scrub, and the tiling round the pool where there was no green anti slip material was filthy, and sunbeds and mattresses never cleaned.
It seemed that they were very short staffed but no excuse.
The food was average and you wouldn't starve, but a poor variety for the evening meal and funny combinations.
On an all inclusive basis the mid day lunch was the best as everythjng cooked fresh to order and a good variety and the waitresses were pleasant enough.
Not sure if the rooms were cleaned every day as bins weren't always emptied and shower room never looked as if wash basin had been cleaned so pass on that.
I definately would not recommend, this hotel, Jet 2 need to sort the negative issues out, the pricing is much to high for this standard of hotel.

We have just returned home from our all inclusive stay at this hotel. To sum it up most of the staff are friendly, the pools are lovely but the rooms and the food need some work.

Upon a late arrival, the guy on the reception asked me to fill out the normal admin papers etc and then told us our room number and said take the lift to 2 and that was it. We managed to locate the room pretty easily due to staying here before many years ago. There was a bottle of water for us on the side but no food in sight, considering we had arrived past 12am this would have a been a nice touch to arrive in the room to some snacks or at least a choice to go and get food from the bar.

We were not made aware before leaving reception that we needed to pay for the safe and fridge first so we had to go back to reception and pay €35 for 7 nights in order to have the fridge and the safe.

The room was very basic and dated however it done the job and the air con was cold. We only had one working plug socket in our room so make sure you take an extension lead with you otherwise you won't have enough plugs. The balcony doors were stiff and often left open after the maids had been in which was slightly annoying as this meant someone could get into the room if they wanted to!

Food was always lukewarm whether it was breakfast or dinner, hence why we had to eat out of the hotel (even though we had paid for all inclusive). The only meal that was hot was the lunchtime food as you ordered this from a menu and it always came over freshly cooked and hot.

I would like to give a shout out to Tina who works on reception, she is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and a very friendly smiley face who always said good morning etc.

Overall we won't be staying back here but it is great for people wanting to get to Cyprus and not too worried about the food.

We like this part of Paphos and thought about walking a different hotel in the area. What a terrible mistake. The whole hotel felt very and suitable for us from the very beginning. Smelly corridors, smelly rooms noisy air conditioning dirty bathroom and lack of facilities such as kettle in the room ,minibar, wifi.
The the reception staff were polite but there is only so much they could do with a hotel that needs serious makeover. We must add that they were literally no COVID related measures. Cleaning staff would walk around with no gloves and no mask bar staff the same. Meals were just ok not sure if they would class as good enough even for a 3-star hotel.

Lol, definetly not. Its like a conference room with dining tables. Not the usual standard design of hotel restaurant. Don't get too excited, be prepared for basic/canteen style.
