Had room 301 which was described as a luxury room with balcony and sea view. Very nice room, had everything we needed. Hotel was a 2 minute walk to the promenade with shops, bars and restaurants, hotel itself was very clean and staff very friendly especially Sandra on reception. As it was March the pool was too cold for swimming. If I had to find fault the food was a little disappointing but overall very good for a 3* hotel. As it was very central I would imagine the area would be very busy in the summer.

We had a week in March here and had no problems. The only thing to be aware of are the steps up to reception, we didn't see any easy access so please check as there may be access else where. Check in was easy and quick. We had a sea view room, one of only seven I believe. The room was clean and very presentable with complimentary wine and fruit. Bed was comfortable and we both had a good sleep, We only had breakfast which was ok, although after seven nights a bit samey. We ate out in the evenings, as there are so many restaurants to choose from nearby. The pool is clean although slightly chilly in the early season as to be expected. Clean pool area with sunbeds that can can occupied early on. The hotel is a very short walk to the beach, where there is a nice promenade to stroll along to the harbour, about 10 to 15 minute walk on flat ground. There are some roadworks going on in the area which we were informed about before booking our trip, so there maybe some construction noise during the day. Don't be put off though as it didn't bother us much. We found all the staff friendly and helpful and would certainly be happy to return.

This is an excellent privately run hotel, close to the sea, the town and the pre-Roman archeological remains. Clean rooms, kind hospitality, high standards, good food and attractive grounds & swimming pool are the key features. Easy car hire nearby was an added bonus.

The bar man on is somewhat rude and obnoxious and the kitchen staff dont seem very aware of different dietary needs/requirements,upon asking for a vegetarian option i got the gist they didnt really appreciate the request and in my view were mimicking it. Most friendliest staff were those cleaning the room ....needless to say i doubt i will go back

Dear Dan123987, greetings from Dionysos Hotel! As you may have noticed our hotel is a small family hotel and we do not provide special menu for people with different diet preferences. Our kitchen staff offered you to choose from existing food options the one that is suitable for vegetarians or even to make you some dish of your choice. Nevertheless there is always a choice of vegetarian options such as soups, vegetables, salads and side dishes. Next time we recommend you to contact the hotel before booking it and to find out if the your food preferences are available on the menu. We hope you will find another favorite hotel in Paphos and we will continue to welcome our happy customers! With best regards, Dionysos Hotel team.

We visited for a weeks stay lovely hotel and rooms spotless and kept clean by a daily maid service. We were halfe board but would go b&b should we return as the food was not great and it so reasonable to eat out. The restaurant next door is great for cocktails with happy hour 5-6. All staff friendly but a little slow in the bar. Building work still going on so the less mobile may suffer. Only things to improve on could do with a ramp for suitcases as a few steps to negotiate.

Rated 4 star by our travel provider but actually 3 star, we had a last minute change to this lovely hotel and we were really pleased with it. We would have had to be really picky to fault anything, it punched well above its 3 star rating. Lovely room with wine and fruit on arrival, maid was in every day and the staff were very pleasant and accomadating generally. The breakfasts were healthy and nicely presented and the dining room and food area was excellent, buffet style and hygienically presented. We were on a bnb basis, but ate twice in the hotel at night as the food was so nice, unusual, as we like to eat out. A lot going on around the hotel currently in order to upgrade the roads etc, we were warned about this, but to be honest it wasn't a problem and the noise was minimal. The hotel is a short stroll from the castle and the mosaic houses, one of the best things we saw during our stay, reasonably priced at 4.50,free for over 65s.

Hotel was really modern and central. Check-in was very quick and easy. Staff was very friendly. Only problems was restaurant we stayed b&b breakfast was OK basic but OK always something to have. We had read food wasn't so good I'm restaurant we decided to give it a try but have to say it was not good. Brought wrong starters and o sent my main meal back. Noticed other family getting their main meal while still eating starters. That apart hotel was nice and I would stay again just not eat there
