Very Good all round. Very obliging receptionist, excellent location just across from the Gondola lift and central within easy walking distance to all main bars/restaurants. Actually next door to the Derby Irish pub. The Polar Base restaurant across the road is part of the Hotel Apartment complex and is used for breakfast. Rooms in the hotel were very small for...

We arrived by car after a long day and were surprised at how urban Andorra was. On arrival, we had difficulty locating the car parking and reception as the Micolau seems to be one part of a larger complex with several names. Our room smelled of cigarettes, which was probably emphasised by the used cigarette ends being in a plastic...

Rooms cosy and clean. Great location for all pubs and restaurants. Close to ski gondola. Perfect if you are looking for somewhere convenient and basic. Great Irish pub right next door - The Derby Inn. Also has great little restaurant - Deja Vu. Breakfast was rather limited, toast and muffins. But overall it was a great week.

Having just returned from a holiday at the Micolau with my husband and 3 teenage children, I cannot praise the hotel highly enough. We had 3 double rooms and all were clean with nice bathrooms and plenty of space for us all. The hotel staff were really friendly and the food was great. We stayed half board and were all...

Just back from a week snowboarding in arinsal. Travelled with husband and step son so separate rooms were a must! We stayed in room 8 in the eves. One modern bathroom with a bath and two bedrooms! Perfect! Small rooms with no view but we prefer our view when boarding so no problem. We didn't find it noisy at all!...

Have just got back from an enjoyable week in Arinsal, and reading some of the recent bad reviews which are a bit unfair, I feel compelled to write my own. We were 3 friends staying in the family room (can sleep 4) which was on the 3rd floor in the eaves (stairs only). The rooms are small but clean and...

This hotel is a small gem. The staff go out of their way to make your stay special, and are full of information. Yes the rooms are small, but it's not as if you don't know that when you book. They are tastefully decorated and the bathrooms are brand new. The hotel is, like most buildings in Arinsal, right up...

I stayed at this hotel as all the reviews were positive but I was disappointed with my stay. The room was clean but incredibly small which I can put up with for a week but I found it a very noisy hotel. The only quiet time is early afternoon when everyone is on the slopes but I missed out on...

I have just arrived back from a night stay at Micolau and will definitely be returning. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, always ready with tips and advice to make your trip easy and more comfortable. We stayed in room 4 which is on the second floor and overlooks the street. It has a small balcony area just big...

In a privileged situation you will find the Hostel Micolau, a small (mountain) hotel surrounded by nature some spectacular views of the “ Valls del Nord” in Arinsal.
