Hotel reception were very nice and helpful the room was very clean, wasn’t over the moon with brown decor. The food was OK and plenty of choice. The reason why I only gave it a three was the noise, the room was hot so we needed to have the window but it was noisy with road noise and a party somewhere nearby that went on until after 2 am so sleep was in short supply. If you choose this hotel it may be great in winter as it is near the lifts but at other times get a room at the back.…
The location is good at the main road and only 2-300 m from the main lifts. The basic rooms are big enough for two. Rooms are a little bit outdated, but clean. I recommend to take the half board, because there are not that many restaurants in the village and the evening buffet offers a wide selection of different kind food. And it is changing from day two day. There is also a bar offering Happy Hour (half price) just before the dinner. The staff is very kind, ski lockers are in the basement and there is also a garage even though the reservation should be done beforehand, because it is so small. The price and quality is well balanced in this hotel. All in all the Soldeu plus other villages was a positive surprise what comes to skiing. The slopes could be maintained better if it is snowing a lot, but otherwise every was working well and people can English quite well.…
We were at the hotel with a party of eight adults and three small children. We booked via Neilson and our transfers, although quite long they were very smooth. Apart from very rude and inconsiderate couple on the return to the airport ( another story). The hotel staff were amazing. They could not do enough for you and all with a genuine smile on their faces, especially the girl behind the bar. They all spoke good English and are a credit to the organisation. The food was good and plenty of choice. The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The kids benefited from a soft play area that kept them entertained for hours. The hotel is situated about 150 m from the gondola and is easy walking distance, even in ski boots. I would recommend to anyone. The only negative I can think of was the lack of a kettle in the room. If you want to have tea on the room balcony, you have to go to the bar for hot water and a cup for the tea bags you have brought with you. Would return.…
Second time we have stayed here, staff are friendly and welcoming. Wide range of food for breakfast and dinner via a help yourself buffet. Chef will cook your eggs as you like for breakfast. Rooms are comfortable with good showers and comfortable beds. Very close to the gondola so a quick walk sees you there in under 5 minutes. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby if you want to get out. Has a sauna, steam room and a couple of jacuzies for getting rid of those tired muscles.…
Very helpful and friendly staff. Especially helping us out when we had made a mistake on our booking and didn't actually have a room booked at this hotel for our stay!! Our holiday could have been a disaster, but the staff went out of their was to help us cancel our incorrect booking. Our transfer back wasn't until the late afternoon. Again, the staff were great and offered that we could use the spa/shower facilities after our morning of skiing, before our afternoon transfer. Great location - Close the gondola and ski hire shops. Also close the Andbus drop off and collection point if you are getting a transfer. Breakfast - just what we needed for a full day skiing. Delicious and large selection. Rooms - Great size and comfortable bed. We were in a back room and didn't experience any problems with noise. Would definitely stay again!…
