This bnb is located right opposite P2 and approximately 4 mins walk from P1 (15 euros for 24 hours parking) at P1. It’s easy to locate and since Hallstatt is a tiny town/ village, everything is nearby. Although Fenix hall is not on the lake, it’s about 100 mts away from lake and approx a km away from the main marketplatz.

The B&b is family run, we weren’t able to meet Jacqueline, who’s the owner, we were welcomed by Maurice. He was the one-man army running around to make sure all the guests have what they need.

The rooms are spacious, have all amenities (sofa, complimentary water, a mini fridge, a study-table, comfortable beds, bathrobes) and are tastefully done. There’s no air conditioning but a standing fan was provided which was mostly sufficient. We stayed is room 1 which was ground floor.

Breakfast was sumptuous with breads, cereal, eggs made to order, coffee, fruits, salad, croissants etc. will definitely recommend to stay at this place.

The hotel is just outside of the congested center of town, a little past the grocery store. We arrived via the boat (Stefanie) from the train station so it was a little bit of a walk in the rain to get through the town and to the hotel while wheeling luggage, but It was an easy walk into town without luggage in tow and I'm glad we stayed outside of the congested area. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There was a refrigerator and coffee maker and they even provided us with water and some wine glasses so we could enjoy the bottle of wine we bought. The room was very quiet, even though the hotel was full and we slept well. The staff here was very friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. The breakfast here was one of the best we had on our whole trip. There was an amazing variety of food for all different cultures with hot and cold choices and Jacqueline made sure everyone was happy with their meal. It was an easy walk to the funicular for the lookout and salt mine tour and there was a cute little park nearby that had fruit vendors in the morning. We will stay here again on our next visit.

Felix Hall is located 15 walks from the market Center so it’s quite convenient location wise. The room is spacious and cosy, there is no airconditioning but still quite cool during summer time with the windows open. The room comes with breakfast and Jacqueline is a friendly host. Will definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our one-night stay. The hotel is in perfect position to visit Hallstatt, with parking 1 and 2 on the doorstep (13 to 24h for 15 euros) and the town centre just a short stroll from there. Rooms are cosy and nicely decorated, with comfy beds, large en-suite bathroom with shower, armchairs to relax, tv and fridge. The overall atmosphere of the place is very welcoming and the owner friendly and helpful with everything you might need. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of different sweet and savoury options (cold cuts, cheese, bread, eggs cooked on request, croissants, jam and butter, cereal…). The price is on the high side, but still average for Hallstatt. We would definitely go back.

Family run Hotel, rooms delightfully decorated (we had two different suites). I haven’t sleep so well for a long long time, I wike up really refreshed. May be because of the fenj shui set-up. All extremely clean. Breakfast buffet very good, constantly replenish. The owner is a very pleasant lady, attentive to guest’s needs. Just one negative point : we could not stay longer.

About a 12-15 min walk from the ferry dock near the City Center. We booked a double room that was very spacious (including the bathroom).

Stay included a breakfast and the hotel was a quick walk to the city supermarket and and Salt Mine (via funnicular).

Really homely place. I were to leave for next city by the first train but Jacqueline advised me I shall try her breakfast and look around the Salt mine. My Niece and I checked in around 730pm. She worried many restaurants may be closed for the last order and booked one place for us, which was really good to have grilled trout! She also recommended the nearby view points to look around after dinner and next mornjng. She was right. Morning walk was pleasant and her breakfast was amazing. Since Jacqueline used to live in Spore, her breakfast included fried rice and soup as well as hams cheeses pastries coffee juice, etc etc! It is about 15min walk from the ferry but you won’t find it is long while looking around the cute town. And Salt Mine entrance is right behind her hotel!

My girlfriend and I went to Hallstatt for 2 nights and stayed at Fenix Hall.

We went by car and parked in Park 1. As we arrived early we left the luggage in the car and upon the check in one of the receptionist offered to drive there and pick up the luggage. Unnecessary as the car park was less than 5min walking. also we were allowed to check-in before the time.

Since minute one we felt very welcomed and treated in a friendly manner by all.

The B&B is well located, a short walk from the main view points. Hallstatt is small so everything is close.

The rooms were big and well maintained with a beautiful decor. At night they can be cold or at least we felt.

Breakfast was nice and one of morning as there was only 6 guests they cook on demand which made even better. Do not expect a great variety of food. One of the nights we did not want to face the cold (and most places were closed) we order some pizzas at the reception and pizzas were good.

Overall was a great stay and if one day we come back we will consider to stay there again.

Nice and friendly couple which run this B&B. The rooms has a modern style and are large. Placed a few minutes walk from the center of Hallstatt, which suit us well due to the city is very crowdy and noicy.
