The Heritage hotel is located right on the lake where the boat docks that takes you across the lake from the train station. Very convenient. The hotel has lovely lake views which we enjoyed.

Yes, there is air conditioning. We were there in September and were very comfortable in our room. Mind you most air conditioning in Europe does not turn your room into a meat locker as in the US. It turns off when you leave the room. You must insert your key card into a slot to activate the electric in your room upon entry and remove it on leaving, saving energy.
