The location is slightly off the beaten path, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It's a 10-minute walk from the downtown area, so it's by no means isolated. The breakfast buffet is very good. I spent a night there during June 2013. That was a business trip to TU Graz. It is very nearby to one of the campuses of TU Graz. I took a single room which costs 53 Euro. The Hotel Johannes on Munzgrabenstrasse is not particularly flash, but it is comfortable and convenient for a stay in Graz -- when visiting colleagues at the Technical University as I do.
