From booking to arranging ski school and lift passes, nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful helpful staff at Hotel Schneider. We were blown away by this lovely hotel. Fantastic food, comfortable spotless room, lovely spa, children’s games room/cinema and amazing state-of-the-art heated locker room. Everything exceeded expectations. And situated next to the ski lift too, the location could not have been better. We are already planning our return next year.

The hotel is brilliantly located very close to a major lift so is ski in / ski out. We rented skis from the local Intersport who then delivered the skis to our very swish lockers and at the end of the holiday collected them - total luxury. When we took them out of the locker to go skiing, a lift made the start and close of each day effortless. The hotel itself is lovely, family run with the family very much in evidence. The rooms looked onto the mountains and were spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent. We took the half board package and really enjoyed dinners which featured traditional Austrian food, executed very well. Breakfast was lavish with choice and variety. Then there is the spa... The spa was beautiful with two saunas, two steam rooms and a relaxation room with water beds no less. The service was attentive and responsive from the moment we considered the hotel. Unfortunately, I managed to leave a sweater in my room and they immediately offered to post it back. We plan to return next season. …

We have been staying at Hotel Schneider for our Winter vacation for many years. This year as in past years we had a great time. Everything was top notch. Nevertheless, this year we were in for a surprise. The Schneider family built a new locker room for the ski equipment. The previous locker room was adequate but it was just too small. The new ski room looks like the lobby of a luxury hotel instead of a ski locker. The interior designer and others who advised on this project should get an award. We want to thank the Schneider family for another great vacation.

Nice ski in ski out hotel very close to ski lifts. Comfortable rooms with the resort view. Restaurant serving half pension. Good wines. Lobby area with relaxing atmosphere. Excellent ski room with very handy ski lockers. International personal in restaurant.

We returned to Hotel Schneider @ Obertauern after a fantastic experience last year. Our experience was as good as we remembered. The hotel has all one could desire for a ski in/out holiday. The staff are very friendly and courteous. In addition to accommodation and half-board, Reception handled ski school, lift passes and equipment rental. They advised on airport transfers and were very prompt to respond to any question or concern we had. The pool & spa are a super facility to relax weary muscles from a day on the slopes and an excellent activity for the children generally. The food quality was excellent, both breakfast and dinners. The new boot room is very impressive and roomy. I have no doubt we will be back again.

Once again a perfect stay. Hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. All the staff are 1st class and there are not enough superlatives to describe how helpful and friendly they are. I am a coeliac and my diet is expertly catered for with what I would class Michelin star food, and even Gluten Free Weiss Beer on request! We had to stay in another hotel to extend our trip and it was not as good even though it was a 5 star hotel. Being right next to Gamsleiten lift, it is ski in and out. Now with a new, luxury ski cellar. All in all another fantastic stay where we were completely spoiled and cared for!

Excellent stay at the hotel Schneider. This was our second visit and even better than the first. Hotel is everything you could possibly want from a family run ski hotel. It has great facilities, very efficient and hospitable staff, is right next to the ski lift and great food. The prices are very reasonable too for what you get. You won’t be disappointed. I love this hotel so I am returning year after year. Location is perfect, right by the ski slopes. The new ski room is something special. The staff is very friendly and professional, the food is fantastic and rooms are great and of course I’ll be back.

We had the most enjoyable stay at this very cosy hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful. We took a two bedroom for our family with two kids. The ski locker room is so helpful and ski in and ski out couldn’t be easier! We also enjoyed the food (even my vegetarian husband) ! Very very good stay! We will be back
