Ski in - Ski out ! You can start the Tauernrunde circuit right outside the hotel and wind down on the sunny terrace of our Mankei Alm Alpine cabin.

• From slopes to living room: After a day of skiing, follow your favorite entertainment in comfortable leather armchairs from our new sports lounge.
• Cool drinks, hot tunes: The bar on the upper level is just made for good conversations with chill music and fine wine. The entire bar area will be redesigned and expanded to include new seats: front row with a box view of the spectacular mountain scenery.
• Business as usual? Not at the Enzian! Productive ideas may come during your vacation or perhaps you‘re looking for a creative retreat? Our Workation Zone is the place for both.
• Three new à la carte restaurants offer international flavors to Obertauern in an exciting "Journey of Flavors".
Generous, long breakfast buffet from 7.30 am to 1.00 pm with many regional organic products with daily changing highlights, Austrian delicacies and first class products from the region.
Free use of the indoor pool and the 1400m² wellness area, as well as a 100m² fitness area with the latest Techno Gym equipment.

Arrived at this hotel for the first time ready for ski holiday. Lovely friendly staff happy to assist with any problems. Nice touch with free afternoon tea/coffee and cake. Swimming Pool and Spa all with beautiful views of the mountain. Bar area also with seating overlooking the mountain. Nice touch with football available sharing the English with German games went down well with the men. Thank You we were all very relaxed.

Another fantastic week spent at the Enzian. This really is an amazing hotel, with excellent service from all staff. Food is delicious and plentiful with lots of choice at dinner and good options for kids. Beakfast is amazing with all you could need to set you up for a day on the slopes. There is a lovely pool and relaxing spa area to help recover from a days skiing which starts directly outside the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space. This was not our first visit to Enzian and it will not be our last.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at The Enzian Hotel. It was our fifth visit- and we enjoy our stays more each time. The staff and Veit Family are so welcoming and helpful- we were so well looked after. We all loved the food - our teenagers enjoyed the wide variety of choice and flavours. They especially loved the kaiserschmarren! The restaurant staff went above and beyond in providing us with alternatives due to our allergies. We really appreciated their help! The suite we stayed in was excellent - stunning views of the mountains and very relaxing. We all enjoyed the spa and were refreshed with the teas and waters, sauna and steam rooms, pool and gym. The ski in and out is perfect for us. We were often up early enjoying the fresh pistes. Our teenagers also enjoyed the games room. The boys became much better pool players! Our third trip to the enzian with the family and it gets better each time. As soon as we arrived we received a wonderful welcome from the enzian team and relaxed! The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, and the restaurant and bar caters for all. High end food and options for children. The wine choice and recommendations were great too. Ski in /out makes it so easy, the snow was great, plus we were lucky with amazing weather. To top it off the pool was a welcome visit each night and the spa treatments were wonderful once again. We spent 7 nights in the end of January 2023, and we had lots of fun. We had a beautiful Enzian Suite with 2 separate bedrooms with a beautiful wiew to the hills and the slopes. I enjoyed the Nespresso machine and the tea making possibilities a lot in the mornings. I used the gym 6 days out of the 7, and it was really professionally equipped. I also used the spa and the pool a couple of times, and the water temperature was pretty o.k. for a little apré ski swimming. The breakfasts and the dinners were really good with a very wide variety of foods in the mornings as well as in the evenings. The personel is super professional and kind: during the whole week whatever we did, wherever we went in the hotel we always felt a sense of hospitality in the best way. Generally we had a feeling that Enzian is a very well maneged hotel, we honestly recommend it to anyone. We will come back for sure.…

Very nice family hotel in Obertauern. The service was the best. We were very good looked after. Rooms were clean, cosy and modern. Buffet and menu excellent. Ski in ski out worked smoothly. The car was parked in a garage the whole week and was delivered for us in front of the hotel before we took off. Perfect service!

We had another wonderful week at the Enzian with our children and friends. Our children have always been made so welcome and the staff are so helpful and accommodating. It is such a relaxing hotel and the owners are very kind and friendly. It feels like we are being welcomed home each time we return. This was our fourth year back. The food is sensational and the spa is a slice of heaven! Thanks so much for having us and looking after us. It’s just what we needed after a very trying couple of years.

Wonderful week. Had our second trip to the Enzian. Great snow…a few snowy days but managed good skiing every day. Hotel was lovely once more. Very relaxing, great spa treatments for all the family and the children were well catered for too with games room/kids buffet/hot chocolates and the swimming pool. Already thinking about another stay next year.

Terrible customer service. They make you feel like you are totally not welcomed. They have a huge problem with kids: even though my children are very well behaved they were told of all the time. I think the problem was with a very bad manager as I admit the rest of the stuff was friendly and helpful. But this one person made the whole experience with Enzian hotel quite awful. Definitely never coming back and I wouldn’t advise anyone to go there, as there are much nicer hotels near by.

Dear Mrs. W, as a mother of 2 children, runnig a family owned busniss since 1950 we are more than happy to have families and kids arround. We only have a problem if our new refurnished restaurant is destroyed and needs to be fixed (for Euro 800,00) after your stay. Your children were drawing on the wooden wall and pulling the plants out of our natural moss - wall. Even other guests asked me to change their table because they felt disturbed. We love our job and we love to welcome and pamper our guests who respect the rules on our hotel. We hope you will find an appropriate hotel for your next vaccation - it will definitley not be our place again. Elisabeth Veit
