We arrived by train and was only a 5 min walk to the hotel. When we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and give you a map and tell you about good sights and best way to walk into the city centre. Room was more than adequate for a short stay with a nice toilet room and comfy beds. Area... More

This hotel is a short walk from the train station so great if you dont want to be caught up in the tourist hordes or dragging your bags all over town. The old town is a 10 minute walk - and a lovely one if you go by the river - or there are public transport options. I liked this... More

Only a short walk to the railway and bus stations, this hotel is well located out of the city centre yet only a ten minute ride in. Lots of electric buses but no trams, and cheap day tickets or longer passes available. Our room was at the back and quiet though at the front it might have been noisier. Bedroom... More

There are no major negatives to report. it is just that our 2 night experience was not great. The location on a side street, c/w porn shop, and only a few blocks away from the main bus and train stations may be convenient, but it is indicative of the neighbourhood. Whilst some rooms may be larger our twin room was... More

A nice, clean family owned hotel. An easy walk from the main train station and an easy walk to town also. Rooms where an ok size and clean bathroom. The included breakfast was nice and it was no problem to leave bags until later. Excellent value in an expensive city. I would stay here again.

This was a fun place to stay but there wasn't much space in our tiny 'family' room. It looked like both the beds for the children had been dragged in for us and the room was not nearly as big as the family room shown on the website. We were fine though as we didn't spend much time in the... More

Stayed for one night at this hotel on my way down to alpendorf In Austria. Great location a few minutes walk from the train station. And only a ten minute walk to the old town and castle. ( make sure you visit the old town and castle) picture post card. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room itself... More

This hotel is located very closed to the Salzburg Train station, very quite, great location. They offer 24 hours reception service, which was very helpful to me, since I got there even before the sun went up, they helped me store my bag, so I could go explore the city.

Very close to the station and a short walk to the city centre and Old Town. The room was quite spacious and comfortable with clean facilities. Only one wardrobe for 4 people though. The breakfast was quite basic but still nice and plentiful. The staff were very helpful, especially when giving advice as to good restaurants etc. We requested a view... More

This place is a little gem right in the middle of the city! To start with, its a 4 minute walk from car rentals, main bus terminal and the train station. We spent just 1 night here. The room was a decent size to accommodate 2 people and the bathroom was clean. But highlight of the place was the owner... More

“Our room, number 3, was pretty quiet. We would occasionally hear the door to the outside close as guests came and went. It might be a good idea to ask for a room away from the main exit if you are staying during a busier travel time. Although, I'm a light sleeper and it never kept me up.”
