Hotel Mozart is centrally located but out of the hustle and bustle of the old city . The rooms are comfortable and warm , the breakfasts good but the price de resistance was the good offices of Rene . What a star . Cheerful good humour and a great recommendation to travel to st.Gilgen .. a thirty / forty minute...

As mentioned by others, Rene L., makes you feel like a long lost family member returning home with his warm and genuine welcome. He and the staff were wonderfully attentive throughout our stay. Hotel is well located for transport, Christmas markets in Old Town, and restaurants all within 15 minute walk...or less. Do yourself two favors - visit Salzburg, it...

This hotel is an easy walk from old town Salzburg with an interesting mix of antique shops mere blocks from this location. This is an old hotel which has been meticulously maintained and cleanliness is paramount everywhere. The bathrooms appear to have been fully renovated within the last 5 years. Rene at the front desk cannot do enough to help...

The real highlight of this hotel is Rene, the afternoon - evening manager. He's super friendly and cheerful, with no pretense or artificial graciousness. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 2 blocks from an older pedestrian shopping area. It's about 10 minutes to the old town across the bridge. Rooms are a decent...

I found this hotel on TA and decided to book for our whirlwind trip of Wien and Salzburg. After a 2 1/2 hour train ride from Wien it was a 15 minute walk to this hotel from Hautbanhof Salzburg. Check-In, We had a warm Salzburg welcome from Rene at the front desk who was very helpful with information on the...

Stayed here for 3 nights in November. The hotel is old but taken care of well. The same can be said for the treatment of guests. This hotel has some of the best staff. We had dealings with 3 different ones and they all behaved the same. Very much appreciate it. It's not a luxury hotel but you will enjoy...

Pleasant hotel in good location and value for money. Very polite reception and accommodating. All spotlessly clean from entrance, lounge, hallways, lift and then finally room. An excellent base from where to explore. Room minimalistic, but ideal, very comfortable with sound facilities. Struggle to understand where the 4 stars come from, but that does not imply I was disappointed. I...

My 1st experience with Hotel Mozart in 2012 was an awesome one. I purposely made a detour to Salzburg again this time, mainly because I know I have a comfortable place to stay, which is Hotel Mozart. It was nice to come back to this hotel once again. The room is big and clean. The location is very convenient too....

You feel very special just stepping inside the lobby with such a big, generous warm welcome from quirky Rene. Thats hospitality at its best. Room was sparkling clean, sufficient space (not large) and comfortable and quiet. I'm a retired 5 star Hotel General Manager (Radisson Blu) so, whilst not 5 star(nor did I expect it) it was definitely 5 star...

We were welcomed with a smile and great local information by the front desk clerk. Our room was spacious and clean, with a great city view. Location enabled seeing all old city sights on foot. Received great local restaurant recommendations as well.
