The hotel is older style, with dated but quaint furnishings. Excellent buffet breakfast included in room rate. Good choice if arriving/departing by train. Approximately a 10 minute walk from the station, and another 15 minute walk to the city centre. Salzburg is a beautiful historic city to visit.

Tiny rooms, but packing all one needs. From comfortable armchairs in the lobby, decent WiFi and use of pc's. Cans of beer at the lobby bar, no tap beer unfortunately . A guy from the kitchen covers reception some days. This can be frustrating for the guests when they need to ask questions, as he finds it difficult to comprehend...

Comfortable and clean, only a 7 minute walk from the station (walk through the concourse and go out by the rear exit). Extremely good value, with single rooms available without having to pay for a larger room. Staff friendly and helpful. Good continental buffet breakfast included. If you're looking for somewhere nearby to eat in the evening I suggest the...

I booked this hotel on the back of lots of excellent reviews on trip advisor. They couldn't be further from the truth! This trip was a special 30th birthday present for my fiancé so that we could do the Sound Of Music Tour. From the moment we arrived we were disappointed and couldn't wait to leave. The hotel had a...

We knew we would be spending our short Christmas break out and about so we didn't want to spend time in the hotel. This was ideal.Clean and well run with a plentiful selection for all tastes on the breakfast buffet. We found the TV had a couple of English speaking channels including BBC World news. The hotel is about 15...

We had a huge triple room on the top floor with a balcony and a view of the castle. The breakfast was good with lots of choice. Everyone in the breakfast room was talking English too :) There was room for parking in front as well.

This hotel located very close to both train station and city centre is the perfect choice if you are looking for a " value for money" accommodation. We had some minor issues solved by the night concierge Zoran and the manager very quickly and professionally. Breakfast is amazing as well! I would stay again and also I would recommend it...
