Great service at the reception, very friendly and very helpful. Parking available for free but you have to book in advance. Nice breakfast in a very nice room, but it could be much nicer if they put some music on. rooms are fantastic, spacey and clean. Great location, just about 15 min walk to the old city and most of...

Very nice stay with my family... Clean, updated, safe, good wifi, and great breakfast. 10 minutes walk to the start of shopping... A little farther across river to old town.... To see Salzburg right... Perfect place to walk. Very personal service from staff.

It was a little long walk from the train station (10 minute walk), but doable. There was construction across the street that started around 730 AM, and with the windows open (no AC) did get noisy, but otherwise it was great. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. It is a little out of the city...

We were on a road trip from Florence to Austria, thus we did not know when we would arrive to the hotel. Being a 3 star hotel, we would expect that there would be 24 hours reception, however this was not the case. We almost thought we had to go and search another hotel. Finally my husband realized the note...

We stayed 2 nights in Sept 2016. My wife wanted a hotel not is the pedestrian zone, but close to it, with free parking. This place fit the bill nicely. It has large rooms, decent large beds, free excellent wifi, free parking (limited) and 7 euro breakfast. I think it's a newer hotel, with not a lot of charm, but...

We were driving, but the SatNav found the Hotel reasonably easily without needing to go through lots of difficult streets. Limited parking was available at the Hotel with only 5 places. We were fortunate that there were parking spaces, but be warned there may be a problem if too many turn up with cars. The room was very neat and...

we only had 1 night to stay in Salzburg but i'm so glad we chose to stay at Bergland. The location is great - offered free parking, on a quite street, and 10 minute walk from old town. Salzburg is very small so most of the sights are within walking distance. We drove through so we wanted a place with parking....

Thank you so much for your review - it makes us feel very happy when our guests had good experiences in Salzburg and with the hotel. And a special thank you for your words according to my "hand-made" mason jars at breakfast. I love to prepare them daily in variations according to the time of the year while taking care...

Drove here from Munich and luckily were able to park for free right out the front door of the hotel. We also left the car there the following day all day after checking out whilst we went on our salt mines and sound of music tour. Friendly owners, the rooms are clean, comfy bed. Breakfast big selection. We ate at...

The hotel is located only slightly out of the centre, which makes for a short walk to all the attractions and a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were consistently helpful and accommodating and recommended some lovely eateries. The hotel has a lovely homely feel and the roof terrace was an added bonus; particularly when the weather was nice upon our...

Personal service from the owner who was very helpful and quite informative about places to visit in Salzburg and actually how to go about it as well in a short time. Very clean room and bathroom. Thank you Cyrus for your words and explaining the - most of the time - quietness of the sourrounding. The small lane in which the Hotel is situated busses or trucks are not allowed to enter and there is a speedlimit of only 30km/h (usually 50km/h in town). BUT - as everywhere in the world - not all people care...
