With just afew meters away from the Christmas markets this hotel is great value for money. Only minus was that until I figured out how to get the heating on, I was already frozen ;) still though, highly recommended

The room we reserved was not big enough for three so we had to reserve another one for our adult daughter which made staying here VERY expensive. However, her single room with two beds head to head, was cute and perfect for her. Our room was on the second floor, the hotel has an elevator, and it was very hot... More

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Hotel am Dom. The staff were warm and helpful, our room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was nicely appointed (and the heated floors were great). A beautiful mixture of old world and modern. The breakfast offers a nice variety, and the staff is truly interested in an nice experience for... More

This hotel's location, along with its medieval structure with modern updates make it one of the best hotels we have visited. Our room was on the street side, very spacious and quiet. We found the staff to be warm and professional. Don't miss the morning breakfast, you will not be disappointed! We will be recommending this to all our friends... More

Had not been to Salzburg before and did not appreciate the excellent location until we arrived. It was 15mins approx to walk from the station, and perfectly located to explore the old town. Our room was spacious with a nice bathroom and plenty of storage. Quite a dark room with window view onto internal courtyard. No tea/coffee in our room.... More

Hotel staff very friendly and able to provide guidance on sights, parking etc. no parking in the city area but hotel provides code to get access through barriers into the old town and then easy to drive to the local garage for the old... The hotel has a great location right in the center of old town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small with just 15 or 16 rooms. Our room was a standard double and was pretty small - however, the bathroom and shower facilities were very nice and roomy. Breakfast is served but is additional cost, which... More

Great location. In the old town where you can walk to everything. Wonderful staff. Rooms very nice. Breakfast is available for a charge but there are many choices literally a few steps away. Don't miss the castle as the views are marvelous and there is a room that makes sense out the history of the area in historical terms.

Just finished a week in this Old Town boutique hotel. Our deluxe room was on the first floor over Gold Gasse but there was no noise at all. Comfortable beds with large pillows, a lounge to relax on and plenty of wardrobe and bag space, we even had a bath and shower in this generous room. The breakfast room down... More
