Sometimes we like to stay outside of the city so that it is easier to make the day trips to the surrounding areas. The Blobergerhof was exactly what we needed. The rooms were clean. There was no air conditioning but even in July we were comfortable with the provided fan and open windows. The view from our room was of...

Stayed here recently with our family, booking it last minute - what a great find. The location, while outside of downtown, is easy to get to with a car. We stopped by a grocery on the way back to the hotel to pick up snacks. Our room had a coffee table, couch and chairs so we could play cards at...

The family is very welcoming. They ask what you want for breakfast. In November, it seems like low season, so it's very quiet. I thought the location would be inconvenient, since it's outside the town, but Salzburg is very easy to access by public transportation. It's also nice to be able to some of the places outside the city center...

I was in Salzburg for 6 days. Normally, I would have found a place to stay in town. However, I read about this place in Rick Steves' book. The location, being outside of town, sounded quiet and restful. It was. The hotel is a 10-15 minute bus ride out of town on bus #21. The bus stop is 120 yards...

Attended this location Nov 2016 for 6 days, initially a bit a apprehensive about the location which is about 25 mins by bus out of the city centre however on my arrival soon discovered the hotel is served by a very good bus service(apart from the miserable drivers) and I was not disappointed. Upgraded my room on arrival as I...

We loved our stay at this lovely family hotel; the people are very friendly and helpful, they love animals, the breakfast was excellent and the neighbourhood is very pleasant and peaceful. A place that feels like home:)

Really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be outside the city but within easy distance to the centre. Spotlessly clean, great breakfast and lovely location. I left an auricle of clothing in the room and the owners gladly forwarded it to me with no problem.

I only rate this poor because of SYLVIA Beautiful Hotel Why we first chose this property was reading the ratings as a family run and very friendly family and staff in a beautiful setting. Yes the rooms are spacious and hotel is beautiful. Our view is pretty but there were electrical wires in view outside our window in view then...

My wife & I have been to Europe 18 or 19 times. If you want a great hotel, just a short bus ride to the center of Salzburg, stay here. Excellent breakfast & dinner. Spotlessly clean. Owned/operated by a wonderful family Trust me. Enjoy.

This is a beautiful property with spacious, clean and well-appointed rooms. The family managers are very helpful and considerate. We spent first night in room 23, a dormer room with a balcony and view of the mountains. When the owner realized how tall my husband is (6'5"), she moved us to an even nicer full-ceiling room, room 12. We had...

The main sights of Salzburg can be reached within 15 minutes by bus. Our stylishly furnished rooms offer great views of the Untersberg mountain or the Hohensalzburg Fortress.
